Some new clothing is available, but with the same requirements of its vintage collection: top quality and a post-war vibe. Reproduced Hawaiian shirts are as close as possible to the real thing, but with a price tag running around $50 instead of $500. DaVinci '50s-style shirts fall in the same price range. For women, there's a wonderful selection of cocktail dresses, mostly priced under $100, and an impressive selection of Bakelite jewelry (bangles from $20-$135).
Vintage Love. I had to get a new suit for our annual work meeting in Chicago. I wanted something professional, yet spoke of SF, supporting our fashionable ways and interest in vintage. I found the perfect light blue tweed skirt/suit that looks hip and will also relay a fresh, professional image. I noted that I should stop by again when I have to go to a party as this place has some stylin' party dresses.
