I have had nothing but great experiences with ASAP. They are a high end shop with high end products and some people may not be used to that. If you dont care or know the difference between sound systems, go to pep boys, buy a $5 radio, throw it in and have fun. If, on the other handm you wants quality products by people who know their profession and care about their customers then don't hesitate and go to ASAP. Be careful when you read these reviews, some are so wrong and misleading they could have only been written by competing businesses and other haters, I have no involvement with the company and don't really care if you go there or not but thought I should add the truth after reading nonsense. This is what they do for their customers, I don't live close to ASAP but needed a few days of work on my car, I had no way to leave the car, I had to travel to florida to see a dying parent and Mark at ASAP arranged to drive me to the airport, take my car and do the work and then pick me back up at the airport, only someone who care about their customers would do that. I also had a speaker go bad some months after I got it and they arranged to get the speaker replaced under warrety, I look forward to doing more business with Mark & the gang at ASAP.
I own a classic 1972 CJ 5 JEEP. If you know anything about CJ's, there are no two alike. Especially the intermediate years between 1972-1975. I asked for an audio system to be installed. What we thought would be simple turned into a 100% custom job due to fitment issues. (millions of parts for 1976 and up, but try earlier). Mark, Raphael, and Heather were calm through the whole process taking measurements, ordering parts, and saving me where they could. They custom designed boxes, my middle console and then made it as theft proof as possible. These guys are true craftsmen and did an excellent install. They even installed a receiver trailer hitch harness for free. Remember in 1972 jeeps didn't come with radios, so this was completely from ground up and it looks as clean as if it rolled off the showroom floor. Thanks guys for the excellent work. I'll be doing business with them in the future. This is no different than my previous experience with them getting a remote starter installed in a girlfriend's car. I dropped the car off and that afternoon I had a new remote starter. It was an excellent Valentine's day gift for my girlfriend. I recommend these guys to anyone.
Went there for a REMOTE STARTER..... I WOULD STAY AWAY!
My opinion: if you only need to put air in your tires I still would not trust them!!!!!
I would Stay Away!!!!!! I believe you will only be wasting your time and money and possibly your cars warranty.
I 100% agree with the quoting Max P below (This actually refers to the owner more than the nice girl who answers the phones)
"They're confrontational, unresponsive, incredibly slimy and entirely uninterested in providing anything resembling customer service."
I am very pleased with the remote start place into the new 2013 Audi Q5 that I purchased. ASAP did a great job.
I am exceptionally pleased with the remote start that I just got installed at ASAP. The sales man accommodated all my needs when I explained what I was looking for and they were able to accommodate my schedule with the installation. To top it off then the installer took the time to explain into detail how to use it. The staff was very friendly and helpful I'm even planning on going back for HID's...I would recommend them to all my friends.
Talk about service! I purchased a Living Social coupon to have remote starts installed as a surprise gift for my parents' anniversary. They explained up front due to the make of their cars, it would be a little more work with an unavoidable fee (which still ended up being about $300 less than the dealership and local competition). They got me right in and both cars were ready in time for the party that weekend. My husband and I are now treating ourselves to the same deal, A+++ for ASAP and their staff.
Got a coupon as a gift through Amazon Local for a remote start from them. Was really excited to get it installed, but the problems started day one. I tried calling for weeks; no answer on the phone, ever. No answering machine, no nothing - it just rang indefinitely.
This morning I tried to stop by before work, wound up waiting 20 minutes for someone to show up and talk to me. Within seconds of starting the conversation, they informed me that they could not install the starter the voucher was for, and that futhermore it was 'not very good' and they'd rather not install it in someone's car to begin with. I was understandably incredulous and after some back and forth clarifying they told me I'd have to go for a much more expensive unit that would set me back an additional 200 dollars, and that futhermore despite them valuing the voucher at nearly 400 dollars they'd only give me a credit of what was paid for it (a little over 100) for the installation. When I asked them if they were okay with this, they said, "Yeah, we've sold like, 1,700 of them. I'm pretty sure we're okay with it."
At this point I was absolutely baffled, and I just had to recap what had been said, I asked the manager who I was speaking to, just to make sure that I had things right, that he was absolutely sure that I was only going to get $108 for the coupon (which makes it not a deal, at all) and that he was okay telling me that my business didn't matter to him (since clearly, when I expressed displeasure his only response was "well there's plenty of other people who bought these.") He then screamed, "shut up and listen to me for a second."
At this point I stormed out, informing him I was going to complain to Amazon Local, to which he said, "Go ahead!". They're confrontational, unresponsive, incredibly slimy and entirely uninterested in providing anything resembling customer service. While i'm sure that the individual technicians are experienced and good people I think the people in charge are way too slimy to be trusted and you would be better served at another location. I have never experienced this level of rudeness or dishonesty at any business I've dealt with.
Worst Experience Ever With a Car Stereo Shop!!! – had a horrible experience here. Defective Systems were installed in my BMW and Porsche Turbo. I have had to spend thousands of dollars to have quality systems installed. The owner, Mark, is full of excuses. I am likely going to have to sue him to recoup my money. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!
Amazing service! – Everyone at ASAP could not have been more customer service oriented. Fast, quality service at a good price. I was ready to go out of town and my car alarm and door lock decided to break. ASAP fixed the problem quickly and I was on my way. You will not be disappointed!
Go SEE MARK & JUSTIN @ ASAP – WOW! Talk about a guy who knows just about everything in car audio. Mark was AWSOME we put a Pioneer Nav, a custom fiberglass box (built by Mark), remote start (installed by Justin) in my H2. I am going back to get some 26" Vossen or Fuel rims next..
Also my good buddy at KOP said these guys do Emergency lighting installs too... Is there nothing these folks can't do???
Whatever you are looking for you HAVE TO go and check them out. Best Prices, Best Custom Work, Kick "A" Installers.
