One of my favorite SF spots. – I happened upon this place many years ago and have been a reg. ever since.

Garlic Edmane to start, Shanghai Noodles, and some hot sake. Recommend going a night - fun to have a drink while you wait and enjoy the energy and atmosphere.

Stop in - you'll be back.

(Don't trust neg. reviews here by people who didn't even eat the food. That would be silly)

Excellent!!! – The best noodle and thai ice tea ever tasted. The service is very friendly and ambiance music is not that loud.

A club I'm not joining. – This was quite possibly the worst place I've been to in SF. I'll be honest-- I make a mean noodle soup and come from a mom who dishes up the finest of Asian cuisines. But even a burnt tongue and chalk for a palate can figure out that this place is just awful. I ordered beef pho; my partner ordered veggie noodles with broccoli. The soup tasted like it came out of a packaged bouillon for pho (I know because I've made packaged bouillon pho before and it's bad!). That was a bounty of goodness compared to the overly sugary, yet dull noodle dish. The sugar was the only thing you really tasted with maybe a dab of soy sauce; the broccoli looked like it'd been sitting out for days. I could have made a better dish in a drunken haze.

I Loooove this place – I love The Citrus Club, the first time i took a group of friends here and we waited about 30-40 mins to be seated since it was a saturday night. the food smelled SOOOO good while waiting in line and when we finally sat down and got our food, it tasted just as good as it smelled. the waiters were very friendly and the place has a nice feel to it. however its very loud, crowded, and dark so its probably not very good to bring large families/kids. the shanghai noodles is deliciousss! definitly a wonderful place to eat with friends after a night out hanging around haight.

Chicken Noodle Soup, can't find a better one – We live in the neighborhood and frequently visit the Citrus Club. They have very tasty noodles at a great price. I am partial to the Chicken Noodle Soup (perfect for a cold foggy day or when you are feeling a little under the weather), but have tried their other dishes and enjoy them. Give the spring rolls a chance, they are delicious. If you get a chance Citrus Club is one of the places you should visit, don't let its exterior fool you.

Citrus Clubbed. – Some restaurants that shouldn't have an open kitchen, especially if what you see are dudes slinging woks around a worn out kitchen and cooking from pre-packed baggies. The place feels like it has a layer of grease over everything. I was expecting Citrusy- freshness.

I love dive-y places, but this place was a dive with attitude. The servers were more interested in gossiping than interacting with customers. The whole place was empty, but they made me wait at the bar for my friends. I tried the "famous" garlic edamame, but it was greasy and soggy. The beer list is good / necessary to wash down the oil.

I was expecting an authentic Thai or Pan Asian experience, but this place is no better than a restaurant in a food court at the mall (inauthentic, bad service). I called my friends before they got there and we went somewhere else.

Great stop if you're ever in Upper Haight! =) – We went with a party of 8 and the experience was great overall; service is good, the dishes were big and tasty at an affordable price. Although, my fiance won't vouch for his Beef Noodle Soup, he did really like the Edamame, Thai Iced Tea, and my chow fun dish.

The Garlic Edamame was so good that some of the people at our table also ordered more of it to-go.

Great food at a great price – Definitely check out this restaurant. Its delicious! The beef satay is awesome and the chicken noodle soup actually tastes really authentic. The prices are great and the service is the best. There's usually a line for dinner, but the wait is pretty quick. Oh, and make sure you're not in a sweater, cause it can get kinda warm in there.

Yumy Yum! – My favorite restaurant in Upper Haight. This small place is easy to miss but the smell lures you in. Try the Hot & Sour Veg. Soup, springrolls, and the garlic house edamame...delicious! A perfect place to warm up on a cold and foggy night.

Delicious!! – A great place to get together for a casual lunch or dinner. No one has mentioned anything about their soups -- and they deserve a mention! Fantastic soups, and plenty of them in a serving! Hands down, one of the best noddle places in the city!
