From the traditional to the offbeat, a one-stop shop for things that are fun. – In Short
Since the early '80s, Gamescape has provided hard-core gamers with everything they require to lose themselves in play. Chess fans can choose from a basic magnetic traveling board or a carved set featuring "Alice in Wonderland" characters. There are tiny metal monsters and warrior figures to populate the role-playing games carried, high-end jigsaw puzzles that transform into games as they're completed, dart supplies, bingo sets, backgammon boards, tarot cards and more.

No Tech. Great selection. – My kids and I discover great games here, games that we all play or take with us on vacation or teach us stuff. The staff is supportive. The selection engaging. I hate to shop. But, I love Gamescape.

Great gaming shop in San Francisco! From Checkers to Warhammer 40K. This a great shop for the hobbiest. Wide range of paints and hobby supplies available. Staff was helpful and polite.

Downside is the parking. Parking seems best on weekends.

First Timer – Excellent service and knowledge about games. Nice and relaxed, Harry Potterish sort of ambiance. It is great that these kind of stores still exist.

Mean Evil People – I wanted to buy a game. I called. They had the game, they held the game, I purchased the game. So far so good. Then I found out that I had paid twice the suggested retail price for said game & could purchase it at a competitor. However, Gamescape only offers store refunds. Since I will never set foot inside again, I chose not to go that route. Who marks things up to twice their value and then won't give you a refund?! Big meanies!
