SF Prosthetics is AMAZING!. I would recommend SF Prosthetics without hesitation or reservation to anyone needing prosthetics or orthotics! I have been treating with this business for 20 years. I have never met people who are more patient-oriented, more creative, more thoughtful and more competent in helping those with mobility issues. Their whole focus is on patient-centered care. This was the first place I had ever treated where they told me that, as an amputee, I should not be in pain and where, instead of telling me what I couldn't do because I'm an amputee, they asked me what I WANTED to do and then set out to help me achieve my goals. I LOVE THIS BUSINESS, I LOVE THESE PEOPLE. I'm not sure what the difficulty was with the person who gave them a bad review and I'm sorry they had a bad experience, but I can tell you from my own experience, this is the ONLY place I will go and the first people I would consult with before I make a move as an amputee (no pun intended). If you need prosthetic or orthotic service, GO THERE. The service is excellent, the staff is wonderful and if you want to achieve optimal performance regardless of your mobility issue, SF PROSTHETICS is the way to go!!!!

Really lousy service.. My experience with these folks has been a nightmare.

They rescheduled my initial fitting on the morning of the appointment. The orthotics were late being delivered (they called me the very morning of the appointment to tell me), and did not fit properly. In fact, someone else's name was engraved on the bottom!

So after another fitting and another 3 weeks of waiting, I came in on the scheduled date. I was told the orthotics weren't ready and "we tried to call you." (They were using the wrong number.)

There seems to be incompetence and confusion at every level of the company. (But hey, they're the Blue Cross-sanctioned provider. Go figure!)
