Don't buy here! – They talked me into buying a Bosch washer. Told me I would get $200 back in rebates. I should have realized when they backdated my receipt there would be a problem. Then, the sales associate culd ring it up correctly and overcharged my card so she did a credit. The closing manager ended up canceling the credit. So, I overpaid and they never corrected it. I just found out today that the manufacturer will not honor the rebate. Now, I have overpaid by $230!!!! STAY AWAY.
Why are they still in Business? – When local shops are fighting against the large super chains, the small shop's only advantage is the customer support and service. Wickford appliance has not discovered this fact. Arrogant, expensive, unresponsive(they don't call you back when there is a problem). Wickford Appliance doesn't realize that customer service research shows that unhappy customers tell 50 friends. A happy customer tells 10. Do not buy an in house warranty. They won't be around to honor it.
Excellent Service & Prices – Prices were the same as Home Depot but they were in faster. Fantastic installer!!
Service and support are bad! Do not buy from here! – Don't buy an appliance from this place! The appliance we bought constantly breaks, and when call for service, the technician shows up, he looks at it, says oh Yeah, I Have to order a part, and I'll be back next week! Had we gone to Sears like other family did, if something broke it would be fixed right away! Save your MONEY DON'T SHOP HERE! BAD SERVICE, BAD SUPPORT! BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IN THIS ECONOMY YOU NEED TO SAVE EVERY PENNY AND GET YOUR DOLLARS WORTH! THAT'S NOT HAPPENING WITH THIS COMPANY!
Wickford Appliance terrible support. Don't bother buying the extended service plan... – Terrible support with products. I brought a GE profile refrigerator from wickford appliance. Within the first six months the refrigerator's door seals were coming off and the digital display was not working. I had purchased the extended service plan. Wickford appliance sent out a technician who had to order new doors and an electronic part. He returned two months later and installed the new doors and fixed the digital display. Within two months the door seals were coming off again. The technician returned again and this time ordered new seals only. He came back in three weeks and installed them. Within two weeks the seals were coming off again. He returned and made adjustments to the doors and reseated the door seals. Now the doors are not aligned hard to open and close. We called again but we were informed there is nothing more they can do for us. I will soon be replaceing my dishwasher, range and, microwave, and refrigerator (3yo). I know where I'm not going WICKFORD APPLIANCE!!!! NO SUPPORT! NOT RECOMMENDED----------
