even the chicken salad was great – It came with my lunch special which included lemongrass chicken, imperial roll, and steamed rice! Cheap and delicious. Decor is not much!
Eat great and save a lot of dough! – Big Kim has been serving my wife and I the most delicious Imperial rolls on Earth for the last 12 years, and if he wasn't so tall I'd kiss him. His food is so well-done, so fresh, and so tasty that I love to show off his restaurant to out-of-town guests, who are all amazed at how good it is for so cheap.
I don't care where you go or how much you spend, or how many times the food network has visited whatever trendy yuppie "fusion" restaurant, nobody, I mean nobody can touch this man's Imperial Rolls (hee, hee). They are the benchmark of Imperial roll-dom. Also try the whole trout.
Very satisfying – I don't know why I go elsewhere. Food is my addiction, my boyfriend and I eat out almost daily. He introduced me to Minh's and I have tried other Vietnamese restaurants but Minh's is by far one of my favorites. If your looking for ambiance and decor-this is not it. If your looking for fancy names so they can charge more-again this is not your place. But, if you are looking for good food, that is prepared by the family and fills your belly I recommend Chai Goi (Vietnamese spring rolls), Chicken in Clay Pot, BBQ lemon grass chicken, and pan fried trout. I read a review about the price-let me tell you they are inexpensive. You get lean chicken, fresh fish, prepared correctly and never greasy. Simply said it's delicious.
Yummy In The Tummy – I found this restuarant walking along the streets of clement. It was hard to decide but I am glad that I walked in to Minh's Garden. I am a very very picky when it comes to food. With that said... They have the best spring rolls. Their lemon grass chicken makes me salivate just thinking about it right now. With a nice glass of white wine... I had a very nice and relaxing dinner.
Hits the spot – If you have the craving for Vietnamese style BBQ pork, this place hits the spot. Not the best I've had, but it's still pretty good. The spring rolls are fresh and the noodle dishes are decent. No pho though. Not the cheapest place to eat, but definitely reasonable.
Some of the Best Vietnamese in the Area – Minh's Garden is a small neighborhood vietnamese restaurant. While the scene may not impress you, the food certainly will. The beef dishes are spectacular. Try the la lot beef for something new and exciting. The noodle dishes are unlike the traditional pho provided by other Vietnamese restaurants. Order anything that is in a clay pot and the salty(but good) sauce will win you over. The prices are extremely reasonable as well and Giorgio's Pizzeria is just across the street.
