Just got some new ink last night by Dennis very happy with his work recomended him to a bunch of my bros. Also very impressed with the cleaness of the whole shop, and the owner Charlene was very nice checking in on me through out my tat. I will be back for sure.
Fantastic! Love it here – I go to Ben for all of my tattoos. He has done my shoulder and my wrists. I took two of my friends to see him also and he did fantastic work on them. Reasonably priced to!
The atmosphere is fun and relaxing, no one is uptight. Ben always plays him music very, very loud and comes across as a little rude but I promise, he is not. He works on your idea and really helps make it how you want. I've gone twice and once he knows who you are, he is even friendlier. I love it there and more importantly, I love my tattoos!
Not Happy! – I went to chris about 6 motnhs ago for a piercing and it went ok.... i went in a couple days ago for a tattoo and he was extremly rude and you could tell he wanted nothing to do with the tattoo. i will never go back there and i will tell everyone about his attitude and how unprofesional he is
Best Place Ever!! – When I decided to get my nose piercing I did a lot of research of where to go and possible people to do it. This was my first body piercing so I wanted to make sure I picked the right place. When I went in there I was greated with a friendly staff. Chris is the one who did my piercing and before he did the procedure he explained everything from what types of rings or studs to use all the way through how he was going to pierce it. The pain was nothing, a little pinch. He walked me through the whole process and it was a fantastic experience.
When my sister wanted her bellybutton done, I knew exactly where to take her. Chris did her piercing as well. He explained everything to her and she loved the expierence. We would reccomend this place to anyone who wants to get a piercing or a tatoo.
The establishment was clean and neat. The amount of displays really showcase each of the artist's ability as well as their own preferences. While I lived campus at my college, East Coast Tattoo was the first place I would suggest to anyone who wanted to get something done.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! – I did a lot of research on tongue piercing before I decided to go ahead and do it. I read the reviews for East Coast Tattoo and most were great, so I decided that I would go here. Chris was my piercer and he did my nose and tongue. He decided to do my tongue first and then my nose, which I was later glad for. My tongue did not hurt at all!!! The nose was a little painful, but nothing to complain about. Chris was very informative and let me know everything BEFORE he did the piercing. He answered all of the questions that I had and was very knowledgable and patient. I would highly recommend East Coast Tattoo and Chris if you are looking to get any body piercing done. The woman at the front desk was also awesome. She made sure that I understood all of the aftercare that Chris had explained to me and even told me the cheapest places to purchase the products that I needed for the 2 piercings. If I decide to get anymore piercings or tattoos, I will DEFINATELY be going here. I got my piercing a little over a week ago and everything is going well. Follow what they tell you as far as aftercare and you will be golden!!!
Got my first tattoo here and also my tongue – I noticed a girl had written a review that no one should get piercings at East Coast because they are terrible. I 100% disagree. I got my tongue pierced here and the owner who works at the front desk and piercer were very friendly and the piercer completely talked me through it. It honestly didn't even hurt. He told me the aftercare and I loved it!
I recent;y got my first EVER tattoo there by Chuck, and every single person that has seen it loved it! So far not one person could say they weren't pleased. He did such an amazing job. He spent time drawing my vision up and I absolutely loved the ending result. He was very patient and careful while tattooing me so that it would come out great. I definitely plan to get more tattoos, and I will only get them done there!
And btw, the actual shop is dim for a COZY feeling.... the rooms where they do the piercings and tattoos are veryyyy bright. I don't understand that girl's problem.... but East Coast is amazing.. and PEOPLE SHOULD DEFINITELY GO THERE!! :)
My favorite spot – I love this place. I've been to a few different tat shops but this place is my favorite by far. They are extremely nice, patient, and really work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. The quality of work is amazing I get compliments all the time on the work they've done. Prices aren't that bad either. Not to mention the place itself is wicked nice. Pool tables, tv, and a jukebox to keep you occupied while you wait, a computer to help you look up pics, and walls of art. Its clean, good quality, and good times...what else could you ask for?!
Great place – My wife and i went in to get tattoos, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We had Chris as our artist. He was awesome, took his time and tattooed every detail. I haven't had the tattoo 24 hours and have received many compliments. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.
Amazing – Okay well i got my Industrial pierced on February 5th, 2009 by Chris. He was so polite and talked to me throughout the whole piercing. He made me very welcome at the shop, and he knew exactly what he was doing. He provided aftercare instructions for me, and i followed them completeley. It's now early May, and my piercing feels amazing! I recommend it completeley and i plan on getting another piercing this summer :)
DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS – I went to East Coast to get my nipples pierced about 3 months ago. The woman working the front desk was extremely rude, and honestly after just seeing the inside of the shop I almost didn't want to get pierced there. The only reason I did, was because I have 3 friends that got piercings there that went fine. But as my new piercer says, some people can heal anything. The studio is not very well-lit, and it just doesn't give you a sense of "cleanness" at all. There were a bunch of stuck-up kids there with unhappy looking piercings just hanging out all over the place, and the piercer didn't even give me any kind of jewelry options. The placement of my piercings was ALRIGHT, but after going to an actual APP certified piercer, I was told that they could have been pierced deeper. The jewelry that was in my nipples was some of the worst quality I've ever seen. I had to have the jewelry swapped out way before it should have been, cos I probably would have had way more problems if I kept East Coast's jewelry in. It was some sort of VERY low quality silver, curved barbells (which aren't good for nipples anyways, despite the material) and the worst part was that it was externally threaded. The aftercare instructions I received were also very off. I don't know how their tattoo work is, but definitely do not go here for piercings unless you want them to have wonky placement, terrible jewelry, and get overcharged anyways.
