There's nothing fancy about this economical retreat, where bargains are aplenty.. The Scene
The front-room shelves overflow with health products and a faint cedar aroma fills the air. Pastel waiting rooms house a wood-paneled shower, complimentary bathrobe, sandals, towels, and a mesh bag for your belongings. Two of the waiting rooms also feature hot-rock saunas. These spaces are private; however, front-room conversations or echoes from upstairs treatment rooms may be heard. If you need to cool off, relax in the outdoor, wood-chip-laden garden.

The Services
Middle-aged couples come for the same-room massages and the most popular treatments: an hour-long massage or herbal clay facial, followed by a slippery elm and honey moisturizer. Request the outdoor pagoda and receive treatments in the garden. Street traffic noise can be heard in the distance, though this is commonplace for the average city dweller.
