I love this place. The staff has great product knowledge and they are very friendly. They have very good product selection. I take my wife and older kids to the indoor range. I have never had any problems with customer service, they always been very polite and helpful
I went in shooters choice today went a friend to ask about a gun.One of the male employees was very rude, obnoxious and nasty. Maybe because we are female. Anyway we left and I spent my $500.00 down the street and was treated very nice and that was before I bought my gun. Never will I go there again
Run away fast.... – Had them do a transfer for me ($75.00) they kept the gun a week before shipping!! Had to go to the shop twice before they shipped it ,also called twice. Also they are way OVER PRICED .. and Rude . This was my first & last time to deal with Suckers Choice
Shooters Choice Caving in to political pressure – Shooters Choice
I visited Shooters Choice yesterday to do some rifle practice. I called before I
drove the 25 miles to make sure they were open. I had never used the rifle range
before, only the pistol range. I told them I had rifles that fired 7.62 ammo and
was this acceptable. The gentleman told me it was fine.
30 minutes later, I am standing in front of the Range Supervisor and he asks
what kind of rifles would I be using today and I told me 7.62mm, an AK-47 and an
SKS-56 - both semi-automatics. He pointed to the sign on the door leading to
the rifle range. I told him it was hard to read from North East Columbia so why
wasn't I informed of this before loading up my firearms and making the trip. He
didn't have a response for me other than management had decided not to allow
these weapons on the range.
I asked to speak to the manager and they said he was tied up at the moment. Then
I called Shooters Choice when I got back home and asked to speak to the Manager
and they said he was on vacation. I didn't think this was funny or humorous and
decided right then and there that my business dealings with this range is over.
Yes I was disappointed because I work at night and was planning on getting in my
target practice, but I am really disappointed that Shooters Choice has caved in
to the media scare on so called "Assault Weapons". Both my guns had the 10 ammo
clip, not that it should have made a difference in my opinion.
In my opinion, if you believe in the 2nd Amendment and fighting those that try
to take away our freedoms, through legislation and media scare tactics, then
whether you like AK's or SKS's or not, shouldn't matter. We should all protect
the right to using guns period.
Last year I spent over $6,000 on ammo, reloading supplies, pistols and the use
of the pistol range. Shooters Choice has caved in to the pressure and I will not
give them anymore of my money ever again. I have many shooting buddies that I
have contacted already and they couldn't believe the range has taken on this
political stance. I will purchase what I need online from now on and use an FFL
dealer for future gun purchases.
