Hmm, where should I begin, Lakes of Summerville made my first time home experience a nightmare! The advertising price is just bait to lure you in to really get their "hooks" into you. The advertised price of 591 is on big bright signs everywhere and then HOI, HOA, taxes, and upgrades are slid in which will skyrocket your mortgage easily to high 8's to low 9's. Sales reps and Loaners are unorganized and and very mislead. The Loaner wasn't knowledgeable about the proper procedures it would take to close a deal after a years time. I provided the company with everything that it needed except for my blood type and he still had difficulty with closing the deal. If I knew what I know now, I wouldn't let this place build not finance a dog house for me.
great for retirement – My husband and I are from the North. We bought a townhome for retirement. The Baron floor plan is great for the 2 of us. We are across from the pool, which we enjoy very much in the spring and fall when it is getting cold here. We have met some really great neighbors. We have also met people from the North. Our only complaint would be the grass. We realize it is very hot and dry but the back yards were not finished quite right. Otherwise, we love the South.
High Quality, Low Price – I was reluctant to even visit this place based on the reviews above, but when I noticed he didn?t even have the correct address, and a username of Bobsucks, it looks more like a competitor bashing. Please only write real reviews!!! Anyhow, I just got my key to my new home in Lakes of Summerville, until I went in and saw the homes for myself, you have no idea, they have oversized lots, a wide selection of floor plans. they pride themselves on being above and beyond and it shows, everything from the hours there open to receiving your key after closing. Compare it for yourself. I give them a 10+
Not the best – If you want a decent cheap house, this company is okay. But, if you want something that will have some value more than ten years down the road without the hassle of amateur low budget developers, there are better choices in the area comparable in price. The Developer is absentee and focused on doing things on the cheap. That usually ends up in the HOA and home owners individually footing the bill for problems the Developer should fix but refuses to cooperate on. Their mission statement is a joke and blatant lie.
