Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor. – In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

I have ate at every place in its class (in this area and in others), and they simply have the best steak for the price – I have ordered most of the steaks off their menu and I have stuck with the Outback special for years now at every outback location that I have visited and have never been disappointed. Absolutely the best steak for the price. As for this location in particular, I would have to say that service is greatly dependant on what time you go and who serves you. I would recommend that you make reservations on the busy days and times (generally, weekends an hour after opening till a couple hours before closing). If you are served during the peak hours, you generally get good service, but fewer visits by your server. The only time I truly had poor service was when I came in 15 minutes before closing, and stayed 2 hours. They screwed up my baked potato twice (how you can manage to screw up a baked potato is beyond me). Other than that, all visits have been good, and the food always good regardless to the service. Of course, you get what you pay for; this is not fine dining, but it has good food, generally good service, and a laid-back atmosphere. Price: $17-25 a person, and worth every penny.
