Love China Cottage! Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant in Nashville! The crab rangoon is by far the best we've ever eaten. Friendly service, wonderful atmosphere and great food.
Visited today for the first time..will definately be back..
Had the Eggplant Hot Pot...yummy!!
All veggies very fresh...wonderful flavor on the tofu..
Ask for something spicy if it is not indicated as such on the menu..they'll be happy to make it that way for you!
Best food!! – This small treasure is one of the best in the greater Nashville area. The food is always fresh and good as well as the service. Always apleasure to eat at this restaurant. The Chinese food here is one of a kind.
Great little treasure – My fiance and I were looking for a non-buffet Chinese restaurant and I found this on-line. It was amazing. Everthing was so fresh and the portions are large. It's a very clean. Please try this place. You will not be disappointed. We have found our favorite Chinese in Nashville.YOU GO THERE NOW!
EAT AT CHINA COTTAGE ONCE & YOU'LL BE BACK! – My husband and I are senior citizens and have eaten the food from "China Cottage" many, many, many times. Would we eat chinese food from anyother place? The answer is no! China Cottage has so much food to choose from on their menu. All of it is wonderful! We have never ever gotten anything that we felt was bad tasting or we felt hadn't been cooked properly. The place is very clean and service fantastic. We always call our order in and pick it up. They are quick, you get ALOT of food, and sauces! The people that work there are very nice and always have a smile on their faces. We are sure that if you eat there once, you'll be back.
China Cottage is Great! – Seriously excellent food. The moo shu pork is fantastic. Order the Peking Duck a day or 2 in advance and be blown away! Really, every dish I've had is very good. Try the Mongolian beef too!! There's just no Chinese food that I've found in Nashville that rivals this place. Try it.
Really good food, service and prices... – We moved to East Nashville a year or so ago and had not yet found a good Chinese restaurant, in our area. I decided to search online for somewhere that looked good. This place was only a few miles from our house and had several positive ratings (although, the last review was over a year ago). We ordered crab rangoons (yum) and we both got an entree from the lunch menu. Hot and sour soup, egg roll, garlic shrimp, general tso's chicken (extra yum). It was all really good, the service was good and we had alot to take home... We'll definately go back!
Cozy Diamond in the Rough – The restaurant is such a depature from typical Chinese eateries in the South. No buffet, authentic dishes (if that's your style) and a warm staff of servers await. The menu is a bit daunting but it clearly expresses to eat in courses. I usually order soup, an appetizer and then split an entree. The lo mein portions easily feed two. It's a hidden jewel in the culture-starved Rivergate area.
Excellent, fresh made Chinese food - heads and tails above the typical Chinese Buffet type food – We went to China Cottege in the McHenry shopping center in the Rivergate area for the first time a few weeks ago. Usually we get Chinese food at a buffet - lord knows there are hundreds of those in middle Tennessee. China Cottege is so different from buffet fair that you have to try it for yourself. All of their food is made to order. The restaurant is clean and comfortable but not overly fancy. Prices are very reasonable especially considering the quality of the food. We tried the Vegitable Moo Shu - it was excellent. Sweet and sour pork was very very good. The Crab Rangoon is to die for and the Hot and Sour soup is so good it will make you want to cancel your entree and order three more bowls. By far the best chinese restaurant in the Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Madison area. They have dine in and take out - BUT NO BUFFET - YEAH!!!!
After dinner you can stroll down to Books a Million or Hobby Lobby and work off that great meal you just ate.
I REALLY like Chinese food, and I really like China Cottage – If it has "Orange" in the name, it's going to be good. I've never had a dish there I didn't like. The spicy dishes are particularly good. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant east of the Rockies.
