I was really looking forward to having a steak at one of the top 10 steakhouses in the country. Now I wish I had asked what criteria was used for this so-called top 10 list. The service was good, but the food and prices were both unacceptable. My husband had one of the specials, the ahi tuna. It was $40, as was the steak au poivre that I ordered. According to the menu, the steak came on a bed of creamed spinach. I would describe the amount as more of a cot than an actual bed. We each had two tiny martinis at $11 each. Having moved to Nashville from Chicago, we were accustomed to pricey dinners, but the food and the drinks did not measure up to the bill. My steak had WAY too much pepper on it, and as I said earlier, $40 is simply too much for one piece of meat and a garnish. From now on, I'll nurse my steak cravings by either selecting a much lower ranked (ha!) restaurant, or wait until I can go to Wildfire the next time I'm in Chicago. Their prices are not only more reasonable, but the menu selection is far superior, as is the quality of the food.
Pros: Lots of free parking
Cons: Pretty much everything else
