I have purchased items from the owner and his father for over 30 years. Most recent purchase was October, 2013 at their new location. They have always been friendly and offered helpful advice. I strongly recommend them!
This man is obviously a very unhappy man. He is rude, and very unpleasant. I went in once and just thought that he was just having a bad day, but the next time I went in, he was even worse. He has no personality and is not customer friendly at all.
Rude con artist!
Problem: my vacuum had no suction.
He told me on the phone that I could get a free estimate to fix it. When I got there, he took my vacuum to the back and noticed that the cover was not shut correctly. Then, of course, it worked again. He changed the broken belt and filter without asking me if I needed it done, when I clearly mentioned earlier that I always buy them online.
He charged me $35 for a "free estimate" and parts I did not ask for!
No need to mention how rude and obnoxious this person is!
He told me online reviews don't mean anything when I told him that everyone complains about the belt breaking all the time.
Sure enough, I came back 2 weeks later with the broken belt that HE replaced. Of course, it was MY fault again because I used the latch to deactivate it. You are obviously not supposed to use a latch that the manufacturer put there! Then we argued about the belt problem and on why he charged me $35 without my approval.
I stayed courteous during the whole conversation but he kept on interrupting me and when he ran out of arguments, he kicked me out of the store telling me that I was an idiot. Great way to treat customers!
When I mentioned the free estimate he told me that he does not work for free! Why did he mention it on the phone then?
Go there if you want to get ripped off, I'll go to Sears next time.
Good Store – I had a good experience with this store. It's nice to go to a small store with one on one relationship.
Beware – Asked the manager if prices we're equal to online and he said that the same vacuums we're lower at his store and online was refurbished units that he himself listed.
Charges a high restocking fee for customers who learn to late that they could have saved hundreds by shopping online. Gives all small family run business a bad name.
I can't tell enough people what a disgrace this store is.
Rude and hateful – Man was rude and hateful. Not helpful on finding replacement filter. I was trying to find filter for my vaccum and was going to buy another vaccum too. Will never go there again and will tell everyone not to go there or buy anthing there.
