This place is so infuriating I'm about to sell my C30. They have no loaners, they are rude, they are expensive and they don't honor anything they say. They also do repairs without giving you a quote. Watch out for Frank. The last time I was in it was because the seatbelt strangled my 7 year old and we had to cut her out with a knife as it was wrapping around her neck and only getting tighter when she moved. I had to call corporate to get them to cover it. Go to Darrel Waltrip. The Franklin drive is worth it. I would tow the car to Atlanta to avoid the service at this place.
We recently purchased a pre-owned XC60 from this dealership. Upon purchase (we paid the full asking price), they agreed to repair a few damages to the body of the car and offered a new loaner car to us while the repairs were being made. Up to this point, things were going well and we were happy, but then the owner of the dealership got involved and things got very strange. They called to say that we needed to return the loaner and the car we had purchased was only partially repaired and they did not plan on completing all of the repairs they had agreed to perform. We agreed to return the loaner car as soon as possible, but we insisted that they complete all the agreed upon repairs first. At this point, the owner got very hostile, despite my husband's consistently calm demeanor and continual offers to figure out a way to make this work. The owner wasn't interested in a civilized conversation and accused us of "holding his car hostage" and called my husband rude names. It is a shame to see someone think that this is an acceptable way to handle a situation with a customer. It is even more disappointing when a business owner doesn't stand behind his promises. If you are shopping for a Volvo in Nashville, please do yourself a favor and go straight to the Darrell Waltrip dealership and don't bother with Volvo of Nashville at all. No car is worth being treated so poorly.
Great experience – I had a great experience purchasing a vehicle from Volvo of Nashville. The sales staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and low-pressure. Its not often you can say you actually enjoyed the car purchase experience, but I had a great time working with Bill, John, and John. Genuinely nice people. Plus, the 2012 S60 T6 I bought is out of this world!
Honest, courteous and respectful – I have purchased 3 vehicles from Volvo of Nashville, even when they were music country Volvo. They have always been honest, courteous and respectful. Sometimes a little higher than independents, however, I often utilize their courtesy van or loaner if I cannot wait. With my latest purchase I received free maintenance for 5 years.... How can you beat that.
Beyond the call of duty – Great people, sales and service. I have bought numerous Volvos from Volvo of Nashville since 1986, and they have always gone beyond the call of duty. I wouldn't think about going anywhere else.
I am a single divorced female. I recently changed jobs and needed to trade my sedan for an SUV as a result of my new job. I shopped multiple volvo dealerships online for a new XC60 and eventually ended up at Volvo of Nashville. I was treated with intelligence and respect. They allowed me 2500 more for my trade than other quotes, provided me with 2.9% interest and then I was surprised when they informed me that my service and maintance was free for 5 yrs with my new purchase. My best car buying experience ever. Cudos to them.
Volvo of Nashville, THE BEST place to buy! – I could not have been more pleased with my car buying experience at Volvo of Nashville.
The salesman helped my choose the car that best suited me. Once that decision was made, the general manager Bill, bent over backwards to make the deal happen. He even helped me get my old car ready for its lease wear-and-tear inspection.
My Volvo was ready when they promised. It was even started, with the air conditioner running, so the car was cool when I was ready to go.
I also wanted to get my windows tinted and they're even helping with that process.
Buying my Volvo was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had, and this is my ninth new car.
Indeed, run... don't walk to Volvo of Nashville.
polite people – took my car in for service. staff was polite and very helpful. serve was impeccable. have owned several cars purchased through this company and would not go anywhere else.
Volvo of Nashville has great service! – I would recommend this dealership to any volvo owner!
I went in to Volvo of Nashville a few days ago and the service was wonderful. The young man at the service desk was very helpful and polite. He told me I needed to go ahead and do my 100,000 service check(the car had 99,000). I waited in the customer lounge for all of 30 mins while they worked on my car. The owner of the dealership came in during that time and asked me if I needed anything and if I was assisted properly.
This was the third time I have had my car serviced here and I have never encountered a problem. If you like nice people and good service go here!
Don't go to Volvo on Murfreesboro Rd – I heard it over and over. "Don't take that car to the Volvo on Murfreesboro Rd" I went there anyway thinking my warranty on my brand new car would mean something.
They charged me $300 more than the quote, did unauthorized repair work without asking me while I was in the waiting room (for 3 hours) and produced a plastic piece they claimed was found in the car thus making the warranty ineffective.
The old farmer whom I won't name, came out and told me 'you've been sabotaged' ... well, turns out, yes, I was. He said it himself. I paid twice what I expected to pay and got a repair that I didn't need nor want.
The warranty is an illusion. They wouldn't cover a key that broke in less than a year, a seat that broke in less than a year, but after some fighting did replace the identifying numbers that fell off the back of my brand new car.
Import specialty is supposed to be much better and more honest so if the warranty doesn't cover anything you might as well go there.
Also, you can't book online, and they have no email capabilities.
I've never written a review like this, but I promised them I would!
