I found a sectional sofa on-line that the Furniture Warehouse was offering. I called and made sure they had it in stock before borrowing a buddies truck and driving 55 miles one way to pick it up. I got there and everything went pretty smooth. I gave them $1000.00 and went around to the back and picked up my sectional.

I toted the sofa in the house and began cutting off all the cardboard and plastic. Instead of a two piece sectional, they gave me a regular sofa and half of the sectional. I waited till they opened the next morning and called them to tell them I had received the wrong sofa. One of the so called managers, TOM says, "I'm sorry about that, just come back down and we will swap it out with the right one." I let Tom know that I had to borrow a truck from a friend and that I lived in Clarksville.

He told me that it is their policy for me to bring the sofa back since I picked it up. I explained to him that I paid $1000 dollars for something I didn't receive, and I should not be held liable for their mistake. I told him I wanted them to pick up the sofa that was not mine and bring me the correct one. I was put on hold for a few minutes and Tom said that he would make an exception this time and would have it delivered when the next shipment went to Clarksville. I thought some common sense had taken place, until I asked him when it would arrive. He said that he didn't have a clue, but it would be before three weeks!!! Totally unacceptable. My living room had everything pushed to one side ready to get the couch swap over with, so I ended up having to borrow a truck again, used two hours of leave from work($50), and spent $50 dollars in gas to correct their mistake. They blame Simmons for marking the plastic wrong. I even told them they should make the delivery and bill Simmons then. Tom assured me that it does not work that way, and was bold enough to compare his store to Walmart. He said, "If you go to walmart and buy dishes, then get home and the wrong dishes are inside, then you have to bring the dishes back and swap them out." WELL, Walmart doesn't say no returns and no refunds, so you are not like walmart, are ya? I would of gotten my damn money back if that was the case!

The best interest of the customer seemed to disappear once they got my money. I will never recommend them to anyone and will never shop there again!! Way to not do the right thing Furniture Warehouse

DON'T DO IT!!!!! – I bought a sofa and love seat that was very comfortable, until two weeks later when they broke. They broke by simply using the arm rest to stand. This shows poor quality of the horrible furniture they provide to their consumers.

Customer service: I called the warehouse to let them know about the furniture breaking and was told they would replace it but would not deliver nor pick up the furniture without another delivery fee which we had already paid. I did end up taking the sofa and love seat back to Furniture Warehouse but it was 10 minutes before closing. I was then told they would not take the sofa at this time and to bring it back in the morning. So that was two days I had to rent a truck to get this sofa back to them. The next day they didn't have the original sofa in stock that I was told is in the warehouse. I then had to pick out a new set because they refused to refund the money for the broken sofa. I spoke to a manager regarding all of the issues, he told me that it was final and I was lucky that he wasn't accusing me of breaking it during a party. This company may advertise Home of the $399 Sofa but we just want them EVICTED.

Bedroom furniture Switch-A-Roo – I purchased a 5-piece "Floor Model" bedroom set with no damage or marks. Soon after delivery I noticed many one inch black Sharpie marks scattered about the surfaces of each piece. There were a total of 114 marks! These were NOT on the "floor Model". I did not contact Furniture Warehouse to resolve the problem since their policy of sale is "As-Is". My contention is that the items that I purchased were not the ones that were delivered! This is nothing but gross dishonesty.

FRAUDULENT STORE WHO WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT TO HEAR TO SELL YOU A LEMON – DO NOT BUY THESE CHEAP MATERIALS! DO NOT DEAL WITH SALESPERSON JOHN EVANS!!! RUDE DELIVERY PEOPLE!

Salesperson John Evans promised us several things in the store and then cheated us. He convinced and even personally promised us that 1) the dining room chairs would be assembled when they arrive and 2) they are "Totally new and from the back storage room where all the new stuff is- never used, and 3) definitely NOT the floor models you are sitting on here". 4) He also promised that if there were any damages to the items, then "Call me back right away and I will tell the delivery guys to bring it back to the store to exchange". 5) He also said the delivery guys would place the assembled items in any room we wanted inside our house.

The delivery guys were incompetant and RUDE- they are NOT trained professionals. Four of the chairs that arrived were FLOOR MODELS and the other four were in boxes, and the table had HUGE scratches and dents on it. The delivery guys dumped everything onto our front porch and refused to bring them inside (it's winter) and refused to hear anything we had to say, and then quickly RAN like criminals back into the truck and scurried off before we could even call the store to complain.

After calling the store several times and being put on hold for over 15 minutes each time, we finally got "John Evans" on the phone, who cleverly denied his promises and told us to bring the items back ourselves to the store to exchange the items, knowing we don't have a truck, hence we opted for delivery. He was RUDE, CONDESCENDING, AND ADMITTED THAT "FOR THIS PRICE, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?"

Despite attempting to politely ask for peaceful resolution to the dispute as paying customers who should be satisfied and willing to return to the store and also recommend friends, John Evans refused to correct his mistakes and broken promises. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY TELL YOU AT FURNITURE WAREHOUSE! You are better off going to a professional furniture store!
