Great Salads – I love the salads at City Wraps. The summer salad is my current favorite. It's piled high with fresh pineapple, cantaloupe, strawberries and honey dew with a big scoop of great chicken salad. Can't beat it on a hot Nashville afternoon. If you like spicy, the Southwest Caesar hits the spot. Come early though, it gets busy after 11:30 until about 1:00.

Best black bean salad I've ever had – I love the Black Bean Salad. It is my favorite thing to get for lunch. There is usually a long line, but it moves quite quickly. The people there are so friendly even when they are hurried. The wraps and salads are awesome!

Best Wraps Downtown – I bring all my out of town colleagues to City Wraps for lunch. They have a ton of choices, with lots of unique wraps you just can't find elsewhere like the Jamaican, Spicy Thai or Raspberry Turkey Pecan. They also make the best homemade soups like Chicken Tortilla, Thai Coconut Chicken with Lemongrass or Cuban Black Bean with Sausage. They also have wonderful salads like the Southwest Caesar and the Summer Salad. The food is tasty and very fresh, plus it is much healthier than the typical burger and fries fast food that we all get too much of. The service is quite fast considering they are one of the most popular places downtown in the Arcade.

The only complaints I get about City Wraps is that the desserts are addictive.

Don't count on them! – I ordered 75 wraps from them for our customer service reps to be delivered at 11:30. I really felt the owner/manager, Joe, was very dependable, and I was excited to try this new vendor. A few minutes past 11:30, I called City Wraps and was astonished when Joe slowly told me that someone did not show up for a shift, and he would be late, without a hint of urgency in his voice. I told him to please get her as soon as possible. He arrived around 12:15, and it took him about 15 minutes for him to get everything from the van and into our breakroom. So, our phone reps, with limited lunch breaks, ate an hour late. He feebly apologized, but he really didn't seem to care that this was a glaring mistake-short one person or not- you call your customer and communicate your situation to them. You don't wait for them to call you, then try to make them feel sorry for you because they are short handed. That is a typical situation any manager has experienced- you don't put that on your customer, as it is not our fault. Simple communication and a sincere apology go a LONG way.

On top of all that- the food was extremely forgettable.

Gourmet Lunch with Rockin Taste! – The meals served here are very delicious and designed to please a wide variety of tastes. They have everything from low-carb wraps, vegetarian wraps, homemade soups, to delightful Raspberry Turkey wraps or even spicy chicken selections. And they cater and deliver to businesses downtown and to surrounding areas!

Buyer Beware – I went in to City Wraps and identified myself as a new customer and asked to be walked through getting the advertised special. I was instructed to pick out any of the wraps listed under the Special category on the menu. The special was $4.99. The person making the wrap asked me a question that sounded to me like, Did you want ham? I replied no, just like it comes as stated on the menu. When I went pay, the total came to $7.92. When I inquired why was it so much higher than the advertised price, she said, the special was for a ? and you got a whole. So, it seemed that I misunderstood the question. The cashier did not offer to make any concessions, therefore I paid it. I shall never frequent this place in the future.

Good alternative to fastfood – Good lunch spot for the downtown crowd. Located in the Arcade. Ordering is fast. Not a huge place and is usually crowded, but should be able to find seating. Unfortunately, the hours are just for lunch during the week, but makes sense due to low traffic in the Arcade during the evenings and weekends. Wide selection of wraps, all of which are massive. I recommend the Jerk Chicken wrap.
