Terrible Dealership – The only reason I made an account on this website was to warn people of Crest Honda. If you look at their reviews, they're either "5-stars this place was wonderful!" or "BE WARNED!!". If you use a little logic, you might start to suspect that some of the 5-star reviews are written by their staff.
I went here right after I graduated college, planning on buying a nice, CERTIFIED used Civic. I found the exact car I wanted, we negotiated a price, and as I was preparing to buy the car, the "Manager of the Used Car Lot" came by and informed me that the car that they had pitched to me as a "Certified Pre-Owned Honda" was in actuality, NOT a "Certified Pre-Owned Honda". He informed me of this WHILE I was signing the paperwork. I felt immediately slighted, taken advantage of, and asked them what they were going to do to make up for duping me. The "Lot Manager" said that the only thing they could do was to sell a warranty for an additional 3 grand. When I asked him what I should do, he replied, with a very comforting tone I might add, "I'd still buy that car, even with it not being certified. I mean, since I know the car, I'd definitely still buy it."
Luckily, I walked out. I felt like if that sleeze was still going to try to sell me the car that was OBVIOUSLY not the car that I had originally intended to buy, I wanted nothing to do with them.
I went to another car lot and bought almost the exact same Honda that was certified for the same price that we had negotiated at Crest. The guy I ended up buying a car from told me that they have numerous customers that have had similar experiences at Crest.
They're definitely sleezes at Crest. They were trying to take advantage of me, and I'll never go there again. I'll encourage all of my friends to stay away. I encourage anybody reading this to trust the negative reviews and ignore the positive ones that could have very possibly been written by Crest employees.
On a different note, I love my Honda, and plan on buying many more...Just not from Crest Honda. :)
Excellent Customer Service – Our Honda experienced a problem with the torque converter. We purchased the Honda 6 months ago, brand new, from Crest Honda. When we took the Honda into the service department for transmission leaking, the part was not on hand. We were scheduled to leave on vacation the next day. Trent, our service technician quickly understood our issue and partnered with us to develop a win-win situation. To me, this day in time, all dealerships are equal, what separates the best from the worst is their desire to partner with the customer to solve issues. Crest Honda, took this approach and is quickly winning a loyal customer. Crest and Trent, Thank you very much for making this experience as seamless as possible.
Great Service Department – I have been to several Honda dealerships with my car and by far, I always receive the best service here. They're always very helpful at explaining what exactly is wrong with my car. I never feel pressured to have any more work than necessary. I'm never worried about if I'm being told the truth. I always feel as if they're giving me their honest opinion. Service crew is great: Bud, Earnest, and Brian just to name a few. Earnest is crazy, but in a good way!
Great Cars & Service – I have bought 3 Hondas from Crest, all at a reasonable deal. Their service department is "top-notch". My regular service advisor Bud is always on top of things with my vehicles. He keeps up with the service they need, and to date I have had no major mechanical issues with any of them. Keep up the good work!
I have never been more comfortable. – I have been more dealers than I can count, but since I started going to crest I have never had a concern if I was being told the truth about what my vehicle needed. Bud has been my main service tech and has all ways let me know his honest opinion if was time to trade or fix what I have. Great place to visit I would recommend this as a upscale dealership.
Crest Honda folks – I had the best time getting my car at Crest. The sales people were super friendly. My salesman, Mike M was very knowledgable and funny. I have had my other Honda serviced at Crest to about two years. They are way nicer than the other places I've been in Nashville.
A great Place to buy your next Car – The sales department was very professional and treated me with the respect I expected. For Single women I totally recommend this dealership. I was treated like a dufus at the other Honda dealerships in the area.
I love my new CR-V and I would highly recommend this dealership.
Great Service – I took my 97 honda accord in for service last week and the people at Creat were wonderful. I'm very surprised with the previous review, I saw nothing but wonderful honest caring people. I came out of service a happy woman, and I'm looking into buying a new civic after christmas. I'm new to town and live in downtown but I could of went to rivergate or brentwood, glad I choose Crest. I'm giving their business card out to friends, and I will see them again in Feb, when I get my taxes back. Thanks Sara
Poor service – The manager we dealt with there is clearly a seasoned, top notch sales guy, as he knows how to lay the pressure on thick. With little room to negotiate price, if you do buy a car from them, be prepared to pull out your debating and negotiating skills for a fair deal.
Additionally, after buying a low mileage 'thoroughly checked and serviced' vehicle from Crest Honda in Nashville, I found myself spending nearly a GRAND in service repairs in less than 10 days. The service manager when contacted said there was nothing they could do.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to get your Honda. Great cars, poor service. If you consider their 'thoroughly checked out car' with almost $1000 in service fees in less than a week a great deal then go for it. Just as a side note, they fired my sales guys a few days after my sale. Too bad, since he was the only guy I felt in the deal I could semi-trust.
Great Customer Service – The customer service was great, very helpful. I bought my 2 teenagers their first cars from Crest, and I received great service both buying each car(3 months a part), and when having my oil change. This is not an old school dealership with high pressure sales, it was a wonderful buying experience. Oh, after you are done buying the car, drive down to the Farmers Market to have lunch, a very nice Market.
