Your car will be worse than when you brought it in!! – The manager falsified info to make it look like he did work on my car, and here is the email from the corporate Meineke to prove it! To give you a review of what happened first:

Took my car to Meineke in OR for work. I had zero, again zero, problem with the power steering or any noises related to it. They said upon inspection it needed to be "fixed" so I agreed. Well about less than 1 1/2 months later my car starts making horrible noises when I turn. I think it is related to the CV joint. I moved to CA and take it this joke of a business. First, since I lived in Berkeley I called this idiot to make sure my car could be looked at and fixed the same day. Idiot manager said bring it in we can fix it. So I drive from Berkeley to there. I wait 45 minutes to be checked in. I leave for the day. By 5 pm I had heard nothing from their dumb selves so I decided to call them. The manager said my car had not even been test driven, and would not be looked at that day. Wow, I went fairly crazy because he is sending me on the highway with a sick car that has not been diagnosed. I ripped him a new one. He begged me to let's go for a test drive at almost 6 pm. l agreed because I wanted to make sure the car was safe to get back on the highway. Turns out it was my power steering that was causing the noise. I had no power steering fluid in my car even though Meineke in OR "fixed" it. They fixed it so well that all the power steering fluid drained out for the first time ever!! So the idiot put power steering fluid in my car, and I got outta there. Well the noise has come back so I take it somewhere reputable, and they give me an estimate and say the pump that Meineke replace in OR is leaking. I contacted the corporate office because I had trouble with Meineke one other time with them giving me an estimate for work that did not need to be done. (should have my first clue that they are ALL corrupt and incompetent)

Here is the response from corporate:

"However, based on what I have been presented this appears to be a parts failure and nothing more. "

But here is the catch. The idiot at Concord told this corporate guy that they did replace my power steering pump again!! And the idiot manager said he didn't charge me or the OR Meineke, so I guess that's why their is no paper trail? Wouldn't I of had to sign something? This dude is crazy. He barely even looked at my car, and it still makes noise, yet he said he did free work. Here is the email claiming I already got free work from the Concord shop that actually only test drove my car at like 5:45 pm.

"The manager of the store told be he charged neither you or the Happy Valley location for replacing a leaking power steering hose. In speaking with the manager of the Concord store he knew the vehicle, and remembered you were from the Berkley area. I understand you feel the Concord location performed no work but they say they did."

So Bruce Clark called me a liar. I want him to read these reviews, and then think about who has integrity and who doesn't.

DIshonest people, stay away – Exact same story, avoid these scum bags at all cost. They left the drain plug not closed properly on my brand new car. Someone need to stop posting reviews and report them to Beauru of automotive repairs or sue them. I am doing this if any one wants to join me in this conplaint, please email me. My brother had the same story, costed him an engine in his new car. email me farimira@gmail. We need to stop these dishonest people from hurting innocent hard working people.

Broke my car, would not accept responsibility, and owner is a liar.

Had an oil change and the wrench monkeys did not tighten the drain screw, it popped out 20 minutes later as I was on the freeway going up hill. As you can guess all the oil sprayed out and my car was engulfed in smoke.

Called them back and they sent two dudes in wife beaters to fix my car in the middle of a parking lot, told me to come back to the shop to reinspect it.

Owner refused to provide written documentation of these events and refused to refund my purchase. Said that it is not in his interest/advantage (no s sherlock, its not in my interest to have this done to my car either). Said that everything was fine as I left the shop and I must have done something to make this happen (I left the shop and hopped on the fwy, 15 minutes later thing popped out, no time or space for me to do anything). Have that statement on tape.

Would not pay for steam cleaning of an undercarriage when I brought in a quote from an independent inspector. I have a bunch of oil on my muffler, undercarriage, and brake lines now. Plus it smells like burned oil when I step in my car.

Oh, and PLZ, go ahead and reply with the same bs story you wrote in the email. I'll have fun showing you video evidence of the contrary and exposing you as a lying scumbag trying hard to save your ass and dodge responsibility.

Plus the guy hard sells unnecessary services to the vulnerable (women, seniors). No honor. Just shake the money out of your pockets and go on your way.

Editorial Review – More than just mufflers, services include brakes, steering, A/C and basic maintenance like oil change, tune-ups and tire rotation.
