I usually stay at Wyndham properties. This time I decided to give a try to Choice. I was pleasantly surprised with this property. First, the location was very convenient. It is next door to many great restaurants and only short drive away from downtown. The staff was very pleasant especially GM, VJ. Also breakfast was a plenty and room was pretty clean. So definitely will be back again.
I haven't stayed at a Comfort Inn before, and was very pleasantly surprised. We were there on the marathon weekend, and stayed there with a team from Truman State. The beds were very firm but comfortable, the sheets were soft and not at all scratchy, plenty of pillows, there was a mini-fridge and microwave in the room, and the room was clean and quiet. The towels were on the plush side and very soft. The bathroom shower was best ever, good water pressure, lots of hot water, although an extra light in the shower area would have been nice. The free breakfast was way above average, with all the usuals plus waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, 3 kinds of fresh fruit, regular and skim milk. Only one minus, the coffee was very weak. But there were a lot of kids there and they had planned for it, nothing ran out but the fruit at the very end. The service at the front desk was efficient and friendly. The rate was $70, which was so much less than most other hotels on that weekend. It was about 12 miles from downtown, all interstate driving, so it was quick to get back downtown.
The staff was very quick to place us in an upgraded room when our original one was not immediately available. Also, they were right on the money with directions and recommendations, both for restaurants and for attractions such as Beale Street.
Stayed here for 2 nights in October and the people on the desk could not have been more helpful. There is no lift in this hotel but the reception staff gave me a ground floor room when I told them of my heart condition, in fact we were given a suite. Very comfortable hotel, immaculately clean
We were very impressed with this hotel. The room was quite large and had a mini fridge, coffee pot, iron, ironing board, hair drier and microwave.
The continental breakfast included hot waffles. The furniture and fabrics were upscale (granite counter tops in the bathroom) but showed a little bit of wear. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The location felt relatively safe, and the parking lot was well lit.
It was convieniently close to the highway but still quiet.
I will definately be staying at the Comfort Inn on future trips to Memphis
We were traveling from Texas to Ohio and stopped off in Memphis area. The room was very clean...shower was hot and lots of water pressure. There was nice clean comfy beds, fridge, table and chairs
We stopped at this Inn on both legs of our trip to Southern Illinois University's Homecoming. The rooms were great...roomy, clean and comfortable. The staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfast offering was outstanding. A little out of the way for downtown adventures, but worth the drive for the value and "comfort".
I have been coming to this Hotel for the past 4years and I can tell you that this is a wonderful hotel and the people here are very nice. over the past year the hotel has been updated in the rooms and the overall look of the hotel. if you want a place to stay at with a safe and clean this is the place. take my word for it, i only want to stay at the best.
I have to confess that due to us being in the area we were able to check out the hotel prior to booking our stay. We stopped off at the hotel, the person on the reception desk was very helpful and had no problem allowing us view one of the rooms. Following our viewing we immediately booked our stay. The Hotel has only two floors, our room was at the rear on the ground floor. The building is fully surrounded by the car park therefore we were able to park our car directly in front of our room window.
All the rooms are equipped with Flat screen TV, Fridge, Micro wave, coffee maker and A/c.
Free Internet wifi with a good connection speed is available in your room.
Breakfast was pretty good and the rooms were clean. The water pressure in the shower was AMAZING and the staff was efficient. We wanted to visit Beale Street and Graceland during our visit and the hotels was located within 20 minutes of both. The beds were very comfortable and the price was good.
