AVOID!. Nov. 17, 2009 at 7pm: We went through the drive through and ordered two BK Kids meals with apple fries instead of french fries and a double cheeseburger. EVERY ORDER WAS WRONG! We received french fries instead of apple fries in the BK Kids meals and did not receive the cheeseburger at all even though we were charged for it and it showed up on our receipt.

Unfortunately, we did not discover this until we got home. Since we had gone there due to shortness of time for cooking dinner before bedtime, we did not have time to bundle the kids back up, drive back to the restaurant, go through the drive through again, etc. Instead I just skipped my dinner and went hungry. :-( The phone number is not on the receipt so I looked it up online and called. I spoke to the manager Ming who basically shrugged it off as a normal situation because they get very busy handling drive-through.

We normally go to the McDonald's down the street on San Pablo at Gilman but it is under construction so we went to this Burger King. NO GOOD! I guess we will drive further down San Pablo to the McDonald's over by Home Depot. We certainly will not be going back to this Burger King!

Flame-broiled burgers--especially the trademarked Whopper--are royalty at this popular fast-food chain.. In Short
Founded in 1954, this ultracasual eatery (often with a drive-through) made its name with hamburgers cooked over flames and finished with the customer's choice of toppings. The signature sandwich has always been the Whopper, a quarter-pound burger with tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles and onions. The menu also features fish fillets and spicy chicken sandwiches, garden salads with fire-grilled shrimp and chicken, the breakfast "Croissan'wich," crispy onion rings and even veggie burgers.
