I have used Lute Riley every time something goes wrong with my car...These shop guys are amazing!! They have stayed open late for me, helped me with any questions I have, and always given me the best service. I think a lot of people go to car dealerships already frustrated about what is wrong with their car, and are going to be bitter when they leave no matter how good the service was... so don't listen to all the reviews you see here. This place is great. I will definitely be buying my next car from them.
Worst sales manager and unethical sales. I was making a deal on a car, we live 2.5 hours away, but had test driven the vehicle. Said we would make deposit on car, our car was there for trade and no one would take my money. they sold the car to someone else although offering me a chance to put a deposit dowm to hold it but would never take my deposit. they said the other buyer had no restriction...ie car to trade, i told him i would buy with cash and sell my car later, he told me they sold it...I asked to speak to a manager several times and no would would speak to me. DONT USE DOYAL IN SELLS HE LIES and is UNETHICAL.... worst customer service EVER!!!!!!
RELENTLESS PURSUIT OF NON CUSTOMER – These guys send voice mails & text messages to my cellphone - which I pay for, they send Google voice messages to my e-mail, and HARASS me in every possible way regarding time for service for a Honda I have never owned, and now will probably never own. Every month I call them and they claim that they will take my number out of their database, and about the first week of every month another barrage occurs, and they again claim that they will delete my info. DON"T EVER LET THESE SCAMMERS GET A HOLD OF YOUR INFO. THEY ARE RELENTLESS SCAVENGERS & STALKERS
Dishonest. Go to Frank Kent Honda Instead – I bought a pre-owned car from Lute Riley. I have never had such a bad experience with a car dealership. They were unprofessional & dishonest. They lied about several things, including serious safety recalls. Our salesperson was James Brown. In the car we wanted, the map lights, radio, and back lights of the dashboard didn't work, and the display to the radio could barely be seen (the sun had to be shining on it just right, and at night you couldn't see anything), and the same goes for the A/C display. When we sat at James Brown's desk, we worked it out so that they would fix the map lights, radio, and display. Multiple times when the salesman talked about the radio getting fixed, I would say, "And the display to the radio and A/C." I said this numerous times. Each time he would tell us that of course that would be fixed. When we viewed the Carfax Report, there were 2 recalls listed. Numerous times both my husband and I asked to make sure that those recalls had been taken care of. Each time, he told us that every time they get in a pre-owned car, they check it and make sure all the recalls are done. I was so paradoid about this that I know that I was annoying in how many times I brought it up. Each time I was assured that they were taken care of. We explained that we have a two year old who will be riding in the car, so we to make sure it is safe. He said he understood and told us the recalls had been fixed. He told us it would take a couple of days to fix, and we could pick it up Monday. He called my husband Monday to say that the car was being detailed and would be ready to pick up soon. When we got there, instead of picking up the car, the salesman told us that the map lights and radio were fixed, but none of the displays were fixed. He said it wasn't cost effective for them to fix those things without raising the price (even though we already paid for the car in full). He wanted $1900 to fix them. He knew that we lived an hour and 15 minutes away, and he chose not to tell my husband this over the phone. He waited until we drove all that way. I asked him when he knew about this, and at first he tried not to answer the question. Finally he said, "Today." I asked, "Did you know about this when you talked to my husband on the phone today?", and he did. That is a 2 1/2 hour round trip, just drive time, for us. He would not budge on fixing the rest of the problems that he agreed would be fixed. My husband kept telling him that they did not fix what they said they would fix, and told them that we talked about it numerous times and they did not uphold their part of the bargain. My husband talked to the manager, and basically he was told that it wasn't cost effective for them to fix it, and if we wanted to fix it, then we could pay the $1900. He said he could sell the car to someone else no problem. We didn't even get an apology from the manager. My husband called another Honda dealership, Frank Kent Honda, the next day. They fixed the problem for $109 for the part and $150 for labor. Frank Kent fixed it for $159, and Lute Riley wanted $1900. Frank Kent Honda also provided shuttle service to and from work. They also fixed it the same day. When my husband picked it up, they told him that there were 2 recalls that had NOT been fixed, and they were the SAME ones that were listed on the Car Fax Report that we were assured were fixed when buying the vehicle. My husband told them that Lute Riley assured us those recalls were fixed. The service guy at Frank Kent said that when they called Lute Riley to see if those recalls had been taken care of, Lute Riley said no. They lied about a serious safety issue. The service guy at Frank Kent told my husband that the service guy at Lute Riley told him, "I guess the used car department failed again." One of those recalls was a safety issue that could have caused us serious harm.
Excellent dealer – I don’t believe I’ll ever visit another Honda dealer while I’m here. Lute Riley Honda measured up and exceeded all of our expectations from start to finish and gave us not only awesome customer service but great deal on our Pilot.
Do Not buy a used car from here – A just bought a used car on 11-1-10 and when i bought it, everything was fine except the noise it was making in the passenger side wheel. So of coarse i told them that i will purchase it if they fix it. So they went ahead and started the fix and gave me a used rental from their lot. 3 minute down the road the car just stops on me. I tried getting it jumped and it was didn't do anything. The gas was low so i walked to a gas station, bought a gallon of gas and filled it up and still didn't start. So once i got my car back it was fine til the third week, which was thanksgiving week, and my radiator cracked on me. I called in my extended warranty and they told me i was not filed in the system and can't pay for the problems. So i called Lute riley for 3 hours and not get one phone call back. So i had to go over there and tell them to fix the problem and so they did. A week passes by and now i have another problem. Now even with the warranty, i'm having to pay about $1200 or more on the repairs. So i don't under stand how the mechanic at lute riley was able to release my car the the week prior and i'm trying to call any manager on duty for the past 2 hours and not get any results. I can't say anything about their new cars but DO NOT buy a used car from them. Also, their Easy Care Package (the extended warranty) is pretty much garbage so i would rather suggest buying a new car with the money you would have spent on a warranty. And with their service i would suggest buying a car somewhere else.
I'll definitely come back for another purchase – Excellent dealership to buy from, I been to about 5 dealers around the area and some ignored me, some asked for a HUGE down payment, and some didn’t even have a selection of cars to choose from…
I went to Lute Riley on Saturday and had the greatest buying experience from beginning to end. From customer service with Kevin, to the final price and contracting everything was a smooth move and for that I strongly recommend this dealership..hands down one of the best I’ve seen.
Thank you all! – Impressive dealership and team of employees. I first heard about Lute Riley through my neighbor when he bought his son a Civic said everything was great and now that we were in the market for a new car I was dying to get something brand new just wasn’t sure I would be able to afford it. Went to Lute Riley Honda last week and I must say this has probably been the Easiest buying experience I’ve ever had, from customer service to the car I wanted to the monthly payments I was looking for overall very well done.

I have companies every day trying to sell me an online reputation management program to "fix my bad reviews on the internet". Or they pull the "Have you seen your reviews on the net lately" routine. These companies have their employees add negative reviews which intimidate the dealership into buying (extorting) there outrageously expensive service.
So you can take the word of all these stereotypical and malicious negative reviews from them or my honest words:
Lute Riley Honda has been in business for over 30+ years. We have won the Honda Presidents Award multiple times over these years. We have one of the largest databases of customers in DFW, and the most website traffic of any Honda store in Texas and nationally in the top 10. Our dealership turnover is the lowest among dealerships in the DFW metroplex. And we are under the corporate umbrella of Sonic Automotive, a Fortune 200 company.
You don't accomplish this by having real bad reviews on the internet, or creating bad customer relations. So just remember this as you are reading the best fiction on the net.

Bait-and-Switch at its' worst!!! – I suggested this company to people for the last two years after finding my dream car there one day and having what I thought was a great experience.
It might be good until you actually try to redeem anything they sell you!!
I'm currently going through h-e-double hockeysticks right now because they sold me their "Platinum Care Warranty" when I bought my car 2 years ago and now that I go to actually use it.... 'Oh, we don't service that anymore, call this company you've never heard of to try and redeem it.' So I do.. oh, what? The warranty doesn't do any of the things they told me it did?? Well, I'm sure this is all just a misunderstanding.
Call Honda again... oh? You're not going to do anything you told me? You won't fix the tiny scratches on my bumper?? Oh, and you won't give me a refund on the $2,000.00 policy I purchased that I now can't use? AND you're going to hang up on me?? Wow!! GREAT!!
I absolutely despise these people now. They are bait-and-switchers and will talk a nice game just until you actually need something done. They did the same thing with the tire warranty I purchased which already had me angry.
I'm going through every avenue I know of to try and get my money back, but it's not looking good right now. Save yourself the trouble and avoid them!! I'll never buy a Honda again, that's for sure.
