best flower shop in hunt county! – I am blown away at the review by Miss Horrible! I love The Side Door Florist and all their employees! I have used them for a little over two years now and have NEVER had a problem with them. By reading Miss Horrible's review and seeing her picture, she seems like a miserable person. All businesses have the right to refuse service, and I don't know the story but I believe I would have refused her as well! I have tried a number of flower shops in the surrounding area but, none of them have even met my expectations like the side door. And, I know plenty of others who feel the same! If they are so bad how come I see their work and little yellow cards everywhere I go??

HORRIBLE! – HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered flowers for a family that lost a loved one. Everyone knows that time is of the essence in a situation like this so I made sure to purchase the flowers before noon since they boast same day delivery if ordered before noon. I received a call back from Adella with Side Door Florist while I was gone to lunch so she left a message on my voice mail stating they didn't have then two of the three flowers involved in the arrangement and didn't have the vase I ordered... which at this point I am thinking they probably should not advertise they make this arrangement if they don't have 90% of what it takes to make the arrangement. She then left me a number to call back so we could discuss the issue. I called this number for 45 minutes and it rang and rang until an automated voice came on and asked me to "enter my remote access code." I then checked my emails and saw that I had been sent an email from a "Joan" and the email stated we have a lot of colors of roses except pink and we do not have queens lace but we can make you something very near the arrgmt you ordered. our square vases are not tall enough foor this arrgmt but, we do have some vases that are not the ordinary. please let us know what you wish to do. 903 527 3795. thank you". Well, if you don't have that much of what I ordered, it doesn't sound like you make anywhere near the arrangement I ordered.

I called back again and FINALLY a gentleman by the name of Ricky answered the phone and immediately sounded as if I was bothering him. I asked to speak with Adella and he replied "Who?" I repeated that I was returning a call from Adella and he stated she was out delivering and wouldn't be back until probably 4:30 or 5:00. I then explained to him the issue I was having and he stated he has "just got there and didn't know what I was talking about and could I call back at 3:00pm to make the order." Why does Ricky answer the phone if Ricky can't take a flower order? I mean, I didn't call Ricky at home and ask him to take my floral order that I had already ordered online... Ricky answered the phone at a FLORIST SHOP!

And the whole purpose of me ordering the arrangement before noon was so it could be delivered today... They close at 6:00pm and are closed Saturday and Sundays. So I asked him "Call back after 3:00? I want this arrangement delivered today, that is why I ordered before noon so it would be delivered today. So you are telling me to call back after 3:00 to make the order and it will be assembled and delivered before you close?" And he sounded like he wasn't listening to what I was saying and just caught the last part of my statement and said "Ummm... yeah, if it is in Caddo Mills where you want it delivered, we can probably do it." That is just what a customer wants to hear... "We can probably do it."

When a family loses a family member and their friend and family want to send their respects and sympathies, I would like a little more customer service and whole lot less of feeling like I am interrupting your game of solitaire.

Needless to say, I cancelled the entire order.

DO NOT USE SIDE DOOR FLORIST! - Horrible experience.
