Still amazing after all these years! – St. Martin's has been a mainstay on Greenville Avenue for many years, and with good reason. The atmosphere alone is enough to pull you in, but the food and the extensive Wine List will keep you coming back again and again. They have complimentary valet parking, which is a wonderful thing on Lower Greenville! The restaurant itself has an intimate feel without being claustriphobic. They have great wines by the glass or bottle, and the food there is Amazing. They offer a beautiful and reasonably priced Sunday Brunch as well, and the service is warm and attentive without being intrusive. Everything on the menu is a Gourmet treat. If you haven't tried St. Martin's, I highly reccommend you do. It'll be your new favorite place to hang out on Greenville Avenue!
What a wonderful find!! – The good things about St. Martins start with their complimentary valet parking which is great specially on a rainy day. Then you open the door and you are welcomed by John who is very friendly and will take good care of you. You go to your table and the staff treat you as a queen. The food is excellent, not to mention the wines. The piano player was amazing played beautiful classical romantic songs. The ambiance is very romantic and charming - perfect for a date. St. Martins today is one of my favorites restaurants in town.
A hidden gem in Dalas! – You might walk right past it, and never know it was there. Tucked into a little shopping center on Greenville Avenue, St. Martin's is one of the best restaurants in Dallas - probably THE best wehn it comes to value.
So much bang for your buck. The food is exsquisite, and the portions are so large! The ambiance is amazing, and you have live music every night! There are tons of wines to choose from, and if you don't feel like doing a bottle, they have like 20 or 30 options by the glass. I almost forgot - they provide complimentary valet parking too! I don't think anybody else in this city has that - they really care about their customers!
We have never had a bad experience - or even a so-so experience. The staff makes you feel like royalty. They are very sincere, very knowledgeable, and just wonderful!
Though pushing the three-decade mark, this dark, intimate wine bistro on Greenville hasn't lost its stride. – The Scene
It's located on Greenville Avenue, but St. Martin's is more Hapsburg frau than hipper-than-thou. Gilded frames anoint 17th- and 18th-century portraits of cherubs and apple-cheeked women. Dark, glossy woods, tiny crystal chandeliers, Roman friezes, hefty bar and a host of books create an ambience that's half library, half saloon. A pianist plays Chopin and other classics.
American fare with French flair dominates. An extravagant champagne and Brie soup coats the spoon--and hot, crusty French bread--with its velvety richness. A tuna and potato-leek soup is chunkier and spicier; a sophisticated take on gumbo. The seared sea scallop dish is popular: caramelized, citrusy and lightly crisped, and bookended with thick, refreshing orange slices. The scallops surround a bed of creamy spinach couscous and are topped with hot slivers of red bell pepper. Beef tournedos mingle slices of beautifully seasoned meat with portobello mushrooms, mashed potatoes and lemony broccoli.
