Fabulous and Romantic – I've never had a more romantic interlude in a warehouse before. What a great selection of wines! Great service, we will be back...OFTEN!
I've Enjoyed Tony's For Years – I enjoy the atmosphere and wine selection at Tony's always have, always will. The wine sometimes may be more expensive, but ya know the prices at Neimans are generally higher than the prices at Walmart for similar products. Tony's is a small boutique wine store and restaurant. I pay for the comfortable, homey, yet exclusive feel of the place and enjoy the creativity of the cuisine and some harder to find wines. If you want cheap, go down the street to one of the loud chain restaurants. If you want unique, come here. Oh yes, and go when they have their Jazz Dinner nights, very inexpensive as compared to other wine dinners around town.
Please do not go here – PLEASE PLEASE do not go to Tony's if you are trying to learn about wine. They are not truthful, can lead you astray and their wine "discounts" could be up to 3x's what regular retail is for these "special" prices. I bought wine here for a special discount because I bought a case. i went to another wine seller and their regular per bottle was much less than my Case discount. I urge everyone to avoid this place. If you are new to wine this place could RUIN your experience.
Warehouse setting offers an offbeat, gourmet wining-and-dining experience in Oak Lawn. – The Scene
Boxes of wine line the walls leading the way to small candlelit tables tucked in every cranny of this wine warehouse. Before seating, pick out a bottle of wine for your meal. The helpful staff is knowledgeable and eager to assist. Don't let the warehouse shelving fool you--the food is elegant and flavorful.
The French-Italian kitchen puts emphasis on presentation. Evidence is in the cascading casserole of plump button mushrooms and shrimp served in a beurre blanc, a hot butter sauce made with vinegar. House wines are tasteful accents to the entrees: a Silver Ridge chardonnay goes well with breaded red snapper, as does the Black Label merlot and the mesquite-grilled filet mignon. Entrees are served with pesto whipped potatoes and sauteed vegetables. The soft bread pudding offers a mixture of cinnamon and chocolate served on a bed of raspberry sauce.
