A store you shouldn't miss!!! – I have shopped in this store for the last 10 years every time I needed something special. They don't just have wedding gowns.The staff is very helpful and courteous. Their selection is great and unique and If you are shopping for your wedding, it's a store you shouldn't miss!!!
Best Bridal Store in the area – I bought my wedding dress here and was very happy with my designer grown. No one else had it. Patty was very helpful and the grown arrived on time as promised. My entire experience was very positive.
This place is seriously horrible. I bought a dress from here, paid in full on day 1 - about a year out from my wedding date. I decided I wasn't happy with the dress and ended up wanting to buy something different. Which is my choice as a bride.
I went in to Brides and Beauxs, where I got my first dress from, to ask for advice. I remembered that they had a sale or discounted rack and thought maybe it was for dresses they had bought back. I explained my situation to Patti and told her I wasn't trying to be a problem or anything I just thought maybe she had some advice as I couldn't be the first bride to go through this situation. PATTI WAS SO INCREDIBLY RUDE.
She acted like I was wasting her time although there was no one else in the store. I told her I knew all sales were final, and I had already pain in full for my dress. All she would say to me was, "Well, I guess it's your own fault for trying on dresses after you had already paid for one. That was your first mistake."
I honestly thought she was kidding at first. She is a horrible, rude woman. I wouldn't reccommend Brides and Beauxs to my worst enemy. That's how rude and awful she was to me after she had my money.
Our conversation ended with her interrupting me by saying, "You know i've really got other things to do" and walking out of the room leaving me standing there alone.
Again, DO NOT BUY YOUR DRESS HERE. I hope Patti reads these reviews and decides to become a more approachable, compassionate, and kind human being. The customer service was unacceptable, and again - HORRIBLE.
Very Poor Customer Service – I went here a couple months ago and spent over $600 at this store (on a veil). I came back up there to pick up my stuff and they treated me horribly!!!! It was like they couldn't care less about helping us after they already got our money. Patti mumbled under her breath to Carla "They didn't even have an appointment"... We didn't know we needed one to come pick something up that was already paid for. Then Carla said "There is no pleasing you" after we weren't too thrilled with the way she slopped the veil over a hanger.. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! THEY ARE SOO RUDE! They could definitely use a class in customer service/etiquette.
Very Rude! – They were the rudest people I have ever met. We spent a ton of money here and they acted like our business was not appreciated. Once they had our money they were done being nice. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Say they are High Class, but have no class!!! – I went to this shop hoping for a great experience. Laurie helped me with trying on dresses. By the way Laurie was extremely nice and pleasant to work with. After I had tried on several dresses, Patti came into the fitting area. She talked down to my bridesmaid and me. My bridesmaid asked about alterations and we were told they could do anything. She bragged on names; such as The Moncrief family and how they purchased dresses from them. This was all done to belittle us. I found this funny because I went to TCU, I am getting married at TCU, my fiance?s grandmother was friends with that family and I purchased my invitations that were a design based off of their 50 anniversary invitations. Then she asked me how much I planned on spending on a dress. She was told that it depended on the dress which of course it does. I don?t believe she should have asked this question. They were supposed to call me about one of the dresses and let me know if the dress could be altered. I waited two weeks and never received a call back. I called today and they said they could not alter the dress and were sorry for not returning my call. I will not be purchasing a dress from this store and will instead be purchasing a dress at Ocones in Fort Worth. I had perfect services and the owner was very nice and even when she did not know the answer, she found the answer and got back in touch with me promptly. It appears other brides have had the same problems with Patti. I would recommend she go to Customer Service 101 and an etiquette class. I am sure the Moncrief?s would not appreciate their name being used in this fashion.
Brides and Beaux is a NO – I went to my appointment today at Brides and Beaux and feel strong enough about my experience that I want share it with other brides to be and their maids. Below is the letter I wrote to Brides and Beaux:
I was in your store earlier today with my Maid of Honor. I did a little research and found the following information that may be useful to you:

They offer Free Shipping and are No Taxes. (When 2/more dresses are sent to same address.)

I dont know if having this information will be to your benefit, but I have more to say.
Today we were concerned by your lack of information. Regarding the seamstress pricing... you are the first store (out of six) that has not at least provided contact information for or given some semblance of a pricing list.
When I asked you if you had a catalogue, you referred me to your website and did not offer me one of the catalogues that were sitting on a display at the front door as we left.
Towards the end of our visit, we needed the dresses brought to the front from the dressing room, when no action to do so was made by you, my Maid of Honor offered to go and retrieve them. You should have told her, "No". That is your job and you or someone that you pay should have retrieved them, not someone that is paying you.
We were ready to purchase these dresses today, however, I am more concerned with the treatment I receive over the cost of the dresses. What I experienced today made me never want to come into your store nor recommend you to anyone.
Only the unhappy write reviews – It's rare that someone who is happy with their shopping experience takes the time to write a review. The most motivated consumers are the ones with a bone to pick. What I'd like to know from the reviewer below is exactly what was your experience? What kind of rude treatment did you receive? What was said or done to make you feel like the staff of this store just wanted to make a sale? Without that kind of detail, your review is worthless and just sounds like the rantings of a lunatic.
No customer service they just want to make a sale – This store should not be in business-the customer service is zero and actually the merchandise
is out of date and over-priced. Look around and you can find many more bridal wear businesses that

Nice before you purchase! – I went here with my family and friends to look for a wedding gown. Laurie a sales associate was the nicest person I could have asked for, Carla the owner, I found to be sweet. I purchased my gown and veil (the veil had to be custom done) there and was extremely happy and satisfied. I took my mom and bridesmaids to look for their gowns and to also get my veil as it was in, but when I saw my veil it looked dingy, used and frayed. My mom was very concerned and asked about it. Patti the rudest person I have ever met told us it would look better once it was steamed. They steamed and pressed it and brought it back for me to try on. It looked a bit better but my mom was still concerned and started going through the veil and then she found a hole! My mom asked about this and Patti had the audacity to tell my mom... "Did you step on it? Because it wasn't there before." WHY WOULD MY MOTHER STEP ON MY VEIL WE HAD ALREADY MADE A PAYMENT FOR? I was to the point of tears because at this point my mom is upset and Patti is being so rude. Then Carla (the nicer owner) tells us that we will get it fixed and we need to make a note of the area. She tells Patti to get some tape and before Patti leaves she looks at my mother and tells her "Don't step on it!" I was like OMG! I'm not a picky bride, but I was particular about my veil. I agree with a lot of these reviews that the ladies are very nice and helpful, because Carla and her associate Lauri were. I just don't understand why we were being blamed for something done by the manufacturer. I would have figured they would have said "Oh I understand we will call them right away to have this fixed." We weren't blaming brides and beaux, I understand they didn't make the veil. Needless to say I feel like the dresses are gorgeous and some service was great but it seems that after you buy the dress and make the purchase, you are not their concern. They just want the sale and that's it. I was very hurt and saddened by this.
