Great times at the Longhorn. This is a great "Texas" restaurant and saloon. The chili is delicious and so are the burgers. The bar is a bit small, but perfect for quick solo lunch. The restaurant is spacious and service was quick. The food is delicious and there's even a quick guide to "Texas Lingo" on the back of the menu! Katie the bartender is so friendly and made my first dining experience wonderful. I've dined at the Longhorn several times. I've even brought two orders of Longhorn Chili home to New York City (in a thermos) because I knew I'd miss it...I've since moved back to NYC from Houston, but The Longhorn will be one of the first stops I make when I return to Houston.
Cool place for lunch. Nice open area and great value for your dollar. I had a Grilled Chicken Ceasar (cold salad, hot seasoned chicken breast; loved it) and my friend ordered the Quesadillas. WOW! Delicious!!!
