I have never been to this salon before and I am very happy I did. Went in without an appointment and they were very willing to take me in at no problem. People were very nice and the styles cut my hair just like I wanted. It came out even better then I expected. I had a very good experience the price was a little on the high side but well worth it. I would defiantly go back.
Stopped in yesterday without an appt. for a haircut prior to a job interview. I had never been there before but was in the village after being stood up by the girl who usually cuts my hair. Lindsay fit me right into her busy schedule and gave me the BEST cut my short hair has had since I cut it 6 months ago. It's VERY hard to find someone who can confindently cut a woman's short hair well! She was very laid back with great positive energy & mad stylist skills having me in & out in no time! Lindsay mentioned she also does color which is a bonus. I was in a great mood for my interview & looked great. I believe she's been there for over 5 years so isn't one of those here today gone tomorrow stylist. I'll definately be back to see her. Very clean salon with tons of great name beauty products to choose from not to mention a very friendly staff who didn 't act like I was crazy for walking in without an appt.
I went to the Beauique in Rice Village a few weeks ago to get a perm. I told the stylist that I wanted big waves, after a long procedure, I was horrified to see I was looking like Diana Ross. I almost fainted!!! I was so upset that I went directly to the manager, who I thought was going to apologize but I was surprised when he did not. The manager mentioned that the perm with big waves was not a possibility for me and, he suggested that that they could apply some relaxer to remove the perm. I agreed. After the relaxer was applied and the stylist started combing my hair, I started to realize that my hair was completely damaged. There were no further options for me but to wait. I proceeded to walk out when the check-out person informed me of the charge, I suggested to her that there was no way that I should be charged for something that left my hair completely damaged. She called the manager and instead of talking to me directly he screamed from over 15 feet away that "Its OK, Good-Bye". As you can tell this was a horrible experience for me, and the Beautique in Rice Village prides itself as a high end salon and spa, but this reputation has been shattered. It has almost been a month and my hair is still suffering the effects of the chemicals. I fear having any procedure done thinking that my hair will melt.
To everyone who really cares about their hair, you need to check out KIBI!
She is my favorite stylist ever! I used to go to Beautique, but KIBI changed locations, she is now working here:

Kibi does the best cut & style. If you need color or highlights, I highly recommend KIBI. You should really give her a chance if you are looking for excellence! She also has the Keratin soothing treatment if you are looking for something special. Thank you KIBI! Glad to have you back!
Best Eye Brow Wax – I have been going to Marcia at the Rice Village location for years now. She is very professional and does a great job. The whole place seems very service oriented and is always ready to help or to see if you need anything.
website down? – Is the website down for the Beautique? and also, how do I make an appointment, and how much is eyebrow threading?
Heaven on Earth – For the most professional, relaxing and rejuvenating facial you will ever have, treat yourself to a session with Mary Tran. You will emerge looking younger, healthier and happier. She has trained all over the world, researched and consulted with dermatologists, and she genuinely loves what she does. She individualizes her treatments to match your skin type, from the most sensitive to problem areas. And, she is a master at waxing. Beautique is spotless and welcoming as well as professional. When it comes to spas, it's a touch of heaven on earth.
Beautique: best thing about waxing – Beautique is ok, but the best thing about them used to be Zoey, who gives the best waxes, especially bikini. Unfortunately, she's not there anymore and has moved to Beauty First in the Rice Village.
Hello – A good friend of mine told me about this place, he recommended it due to the good quality, good care and treatment. And now i been going there for this past year. My personal Hairstylist Diano, is always on point when he gives me haircuts and always gives me good advice on what would look good on me, he's pretty much the reason why i been going back. The people are real nice and they interact with you and won't let you leave until they kno you're satisfied with their job. I really like this place and will for sure keep going back.
It's ok. Nothing special for the money. – I had one of the best haircuts I ever had done by a European man some years ago, but, other than that, my attitude is "eh, no biggie" about the Beautique. I think the salon workers there think they are more talented than they really are. It's ok, but I've had better; and, I had different stylists at the Beautique do me for a few years there.
Not going back, by the way.
