make sure you confirm your reservations. I made a reservation and arrived at the the time given and they had no record of the appointment, instead I got an excuse, and then offered a rebook with discount, no thank you, that doesn't give me back time wasted that day.

Nothing was amazing,Disappointed. – On one of my friend's recommendation i had my 1st facial there.I am really disappointed.I was expecting something different .The therapist did not even ask any of my skin concerns or spent a minute to analysed my skin and started the facial right after coming in to the room.I had heard their facial massage movements are different but except a few minutes back or one minute lower leg massage there was nothing different.I assume she was in hurry and facial was not even 50-minutes.No skin analysis,no mask and no sun block which is a important part of a facial.
I might try to the other therapist next time to see if there is anything WOW to recommend my family and friends.
WITHOUT A DOUBT A HIDDEN TREASURE!!!!!! – I come early to appointments all the time just to enjoy the overall ambiance of this spa. I didn't expect for such a beautiful spa to be in a professional building but it is definitely decorated cozier than the spas i've been too in the past. I recieved my first facial here and got addicted right away, spur of the moment one day I wanted to get another one but sanctuary didnt have any available appointments so I went to face logic. Let me tell you it doesnt compare what so ever. The price is a bargain but after going im more than willing to shuck out the extra couple dollars to get the sanctuary experience.

Our teamwork and dedication to high quality service and products is top of mind for us. Our facial protocol is unique and has meaning. I agree, when you get a bad facial with no purpose, it is awful. I had the same experience at a well known resort spa...bad was not the word for it. We love our work at Sanctuary and hope it shows each and every time you visit. A slip-up here and there gets noticed too and when we hear about it the remedy is put in place immediately, it only helps us grow and become better. Very Unprofessional – I recieved a surprised gift certificate for this spa from my bf, once I called the to make the appointment and told the receptionist I didnt exactly know what was included in the package, she said she couldnt look it up at the moment. (that should of given me a hint) So I had to go to my email and tell her the certificate info. Once I showed up at the spa, the front receptionist was too busy texting on her phone and had a rude attitude I gave her the certificate and started with the massage. To be clear both the massage and the facials WERE GOOD. Yet as we are going from one procedure to the other the receptionist walks back there and says and in front of everyone she says that my boyfriends card was declined card! She was going to have to contact him.. As emmbarrased as I was I told her that I would just pay for it, not satisfied with that she said that she still had to talk to him.. (He works in Iraq.. there was no way for us to get ahold of him) Which then I told her, and she said that I needed to take care of that... keep in mind when I made the appt. they should of looked it up, then I called to tell them I was on my way, and I still showed up and filled out paper work and during this time it never occurred to anyone to check it... As bothered as I was I still wanted to get the facial, so the receptionist still had the nerve to ask if I was gonna pay for it, if im getting the service done of course I will!! The other workers were standing there listening to everything...during the facial I couldnt even relax and was ready to just get out of there.
As I went to go pay (so much for someone getting a gift certificate) I asked her how come he was able to get it online (PS DONT BUY THEIR STUFF ONLINE) she said she had no explanation for that, or why they never bothered to look it up until I had already had a service done and why they never sent out an email telling him anything (but this time she said it hadnt been decline that the exparation date on it was for that same month and that it might have had been the reason.. that it showed as incomplete). She was so rude and kept acting like it was my fault... when in reality it was theirs...
In all honesty, my biggest bother wasnt that I had to pay for it but it was their lack of professionalism that really bothered me I felt humilated and she kept acting like if I was trying to steal a service from them, or like if I had randomly made up a gift certificate. And once I offered to pay for it she acted like if she didnt think my card was going to go thru. I dont believe that is a way to do business, I understand that mistakes happen sometimes but, I also believe that you should treat people right, are their workers forgetting that thanks to ppl like me and my bf she has a job! It was one of the most demining things ever. And it all turned out.. that their website hadnt even ran his card thru, which they later did call to apologize for (of course another receptionist which wasnt even there that day, had to do it)... Ha! So much for me getting a gift to relax me huh! Where did the serenity go? PS... if you have a gift certificate, make sure you take money with you I think that would be a horrible situation to be in if I would of left my purse at home.
I feel sick that you had this experience. I APOLOGIZE. If anything like this happens, it happens when I am not there. I assure you we are kinder, more respectful and more professional than that experience. There is no excuse for any of this - NONE. I know that our other receptionist called you and "tried" to apologize and we offered you another opportunity to relax and experience the serenity with a massage. I will be calling you when I return from my vacation - once I have had a chance to speak with all employees involved. You are correct - mistakes do happen, but this one seemed to have a life of it's own and became complicated and awful. Please know that I care and want to make it good for you if you will give me the opportunity.
The best spa in Houston!!! – I love Sanctuary Spa! Ive been a client at the spa for years and I LOVE what they have to offer. Not only are the services exceptional...you really feel the love when you walk in. The products that they use make my skin feel like heaven!

everything is great here – I've been coming to this spa for years. I've tried facials, massages and energy work. Everything I've tried is absolutely fabulous. I always come back for the facials! Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Shannon the best esthetician I ever had. I have a teenage son and will be back to see her. After my facial I had a massage with Androulla, what a passionate therapist, she took care of all my body aches and pains. Lunch was wonderful, pasta pesto chicken salad served with love. I asked who the owner was and I just want to say Brea the love shows in your Spa and staff. I will be back

Our foundation is based on relationships with all of our clients. "Love" has been expressed by many of our clients since the late 1980's so it looks like the tradition has maintained through the years. receptionist with attitude – Receptionist indicated I would get 10% off services after I inquired about birthday discount. However, she gave me only $10 off instead of $25. She was rude when I was explaining this to her and later said it is 10% off only one service, which still didn't add up correctly and I wasn't told this in advance. She then hung up on me without any closure. My birthday is special and it certainly didn't feel like it going to this place. A pity, because the facial was fabulous.
I am disappointed this happened to you. I am certainly hopeful it was miscommunication. I am looking at one of our birthday cards now and here is what all of them say: "It is good for one service only ($20 maximum discount), Not valid with other discounts. Firm Expiration date of __, Card must be presented at time of service. Must be used by recipient - not transferable."
So I am hoping the $10 was correct. We never want any day to be a bad day here at Sanctuary - birthday or no birthday. I am happy your facial was fabulous.

Amazing Massage Therapist!!!!!!!!! – Fantastic Deep Tissue massage. I was truly impressed with Androulla, very knowledgeable and highly skilled massage therapist. I found Sanctuary to be very relaxed and friendly.
