Bad Hair Day for WEEKS. Taking the time to discuss what you want is wonderful.... but this is NOT what I asked for, NOT what we discussed, and NOT what Carol agreed to do. One of the top three bad haircuts of my life. Comparing this horrible hair cut to her own did not help. Telling me that "Now I understand what you want" after butchering my hair was just cruel. I paid because I was in such SHOCK. I would go back and ask for a refund but I would just start screaming! The offer of the next hair cut for free will never happen. I will never go back to this salon!

Overpriced and rude.. I had to pay far too much for unprofessional behavior and a cut I could have gotten at Supercuts. It was my first time visiting this girl (whose name I can't even remember) and she must have just graduated from beauty school because my cut was horrible... I had to go get it fixedx two days after. I don't mind paying for a good service when I get one but this was just awful. She also talked trash about other clients and told me life details I didn't care to hear while I was in her chair. I'm not part of your life's drama, girl! Keep it to yourself! Don't bother stopping in this little salon... it's not worth a quarter of the price they charge.

Overpriced and not worth the trip. I had the worst hair experience EVER there!!! $220 for a cut, color, foil! I could have gone to a much nicer salon for that and gotten a much better stylist. The girl that did my hair was working on 3 other people at the same time so it took 4 1/2 hours to get my cut and color done. If I knew it would be that much, I would have gone elsewhere. Not to mention, for that price I should have been her only client and gotten treated better. Then, to top things off, when she finishes and gives me the not so grand total, she informs me that the credit card machine is down! Could it have been more inconvenient? NO!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! So, if you are thinking of checking this hole in the wall out, I have a few suggestions. Call first to find out how much the services you want will cost, make sure their credit card machine is working or have cash, and really consider somewhere else.

Best cut, color and extensions in the city. I haven't been this happy about my hair in the last 10 years! I adore Carol, she made me love my hair again. Her extensions are amazing no one can tell the difference between that and my natural hair. Also the color is amazing. I am always happy when I leave the salon. The salon is very clean and friendly. I would recommend her to anyone!

In and Out Quickly. Yes, Shawn is a great stylist. Yes, she helps her customers maintain healthy hair. And yes, the store is clean and safe and the people are friendly. But the best thing about Shawn is that she gets you in and out quickly...and your hair looks good when you leave! No more waiting to be put under the dryer with dripping wet hair. No more drying to a crisp or waiting to get styled while your hairdresser blabs on the phone. I get in and out timely and that's very important to me!

Best Stylist in Houston. Shawn has been doing my hair for several years now and I am ALWAYS satisfied! She uses excellent products and keeps my hair looking healthy and stylish. I have recommended her to all of my friends and family and they, too are satisfied with her work. She gives each individual a style that fits their features and personality so your hair will never look like any other client's. She can handle all hair types and is an expert colorist. The salon is a professional, friendly, relaxing environment and I always feel refreshed when I leave. She's also very timely so I don't spend all day at the salon. I am always in and out. I would definitely recommend Shawn's services to anyone in need of an excellent stylist!

The most wonderful environment!!!. Shawn Cook is the best!!! the most down to earth stylists. i have always been a very happy and satisfied client when i walk out the door. i recommend all my friends and family to her. There is not a place that i do not go where i am not complimented on how healthy my hair is and how beautiful it just compliments me. I am so thankful for Shawn for who she is and all she has done for me. you go girl!!!!

Tim: New York Fashion with Texas Flair. Tim's attention to detail is flawless. His sense of style keeps me coming back. My job takes me from Houston to New York to Europe to the Caribbean, and my haircut has to weather wind, water, salt and sun, from the damp chill of London to the intense drying environment of air travel. I used to keep my hair pulled back most of the time. Now I get stopped at Kennedy Airport --- A LOT --- with "Who does your hair?" Tim Granderson, Stage Door, Houston, Texas.

Best Salon in The Heights. This salon is becoming the best in The Heights -- clean, contemporary, easy parking, and stylist TIM Granderson. It's great to find a stylist with skill and experience to cut and create different styles -- plus Color -- an all-in-one stylist like Tim is not easy to find.
