MSG free! – In all honesty, Im not sure if the people who gave low ratings ordered from the same resturaunt that i just did, because i didnt have an experience anything like theirs.... Im normally skeptical about ordering from random resturaunts, but they dropped a menu by my house, and decided to order because of their MSG free food (my family has to watch their MSG intake). My mom and I just ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, kung pao shrimp, hot and sour soup, seasame chicken, and mongolian beef. it was really really good! The shrimp was fresh, and you could immediately tell even as you ate the hot and sour soup that there was no MSG, and delivery wasnt too long. Most places besides pizza that deliver usually do take a while, because obviously their main buisness isnt delivery. I HIGHLY reccomend this place. Its CHEAP, TASTY, and FRESH!

Mom and Pop dive with great food. – Hunan King is what I would call a dive. Very small and not very asthetic. However, their food is fantastic. I have dined in and had delivery many times as I work right around the corner. The people are always friendly and I would recommend them to anyone. Personal recommendation: Mongolian Combination (chicken, beef, shrimp). I think those other reviewers might have the wrong restaurant!

Fast, cheap. consistently good. – I can't believe the reviews I've read!! We order from here several times a week and the food has ALWAYS been great!!! Everything we've ordered has been very tasty with fresh shrimp - I do have favorites - sesame chicken, mongolian beef , hunan delight - but all is worth trying!! Granted the area is terrible, but they have very fast delivery. I would defintely try it if you haven't!!

Didn't even get the food – THEY CHANGED THEIR NAME!! Probably because, of all these reviews. Their new name is Chau's Garden Chinese Restaurant.

WOW, they are RUDE. My first and last call to this place for a delivery, and the phone was picked up and hung up the first three times. So I gave them the benifit of the doubt, and called a fourth time. They finally answered. He was very rude, and quick with me. I made my order, and he told me 25 minutes or so. As soon as I hung up I realized the price he told me seemed too high. I called back to confirm the order, and told him the price seemed too high, and he rasied his voice and argued with me. He told me that it was not too high. He had just assumed that I wanted the dinner portion of the General Tso's Chicken. Simple misunderstanding right? So I told him I just needed the lunch portion. He said he was sorry he assumed that, and mumbled something and was about to hang up, I asked him to repeat himself, and I still couldn't understand him. So I said, Ok, so I would just like the lunch portion please. He shouted, the food is already prepared! I said well I'm not going to eat it, I want the lunch portion. He shouted and said fine, just pay that amount when he gets there. I thought ok, then hung up. Then considered the fact that this angry guy had control of my food. So I called back to cancel the order, cause who knows what he might do. Then he really got worked up. Asking why would you do that! I told him there was a misunderstanding and I no longer needed the food. He shouted its on its way! I said that I didn't want it and he shouted some more and hung up on me. Glad I didn't give a credit card number to him.

Ewwwww . . . greasy – Our favorite delivery place closed so I set out to find a new place for those nights when I am too tired to cook and pizza wont do. I saw Hunan King had a website and delivered - PERFECT I thought.

Alas it was awful. Greasy with bad flavor. We threw it out and we wont be ordering again, thats for sure. It might have been the worst Chinese I have eaten - ever.

Their website is nice though . . .

So so salty... – The girl who took my order was very pleasant. I called in for pickup and was told it would be 10 minutes. Well, I showed up exactly 10 minutes later and indeed my food was ready. The prices are very reasonable but the location suits the prices well, low end. The food yielded a mixed review as the boo boo platter, an appetizer, was really good while the general tsao's chicken was almost too salty to consume. As a matter of fact, I did not eat it because it was so salty. I ate the soup and the egg roll that came with it and saved the rice. My friend ordered mexican from next door at Ruchi's... I almost wish I'd gone there instead...
