Worst DPS ever – OK, how can they not realize that people do not have all day to wait to renew their license. Why can't they open another office in The Woodlands. Car tags aren't this difficult to renew. Who is in charge and who do you complain to?

The same people have worked there for 100 years and literally don't care about anybody or anything

If I could rate negative stars, I would – Typical government bureaucracy! Long wait lines, not enough staff, and a "what do you want" attitude from many. With all of the expansion in this area, there needs to be another DPS office built, or an expansion of the current location. Who supervises this location? Most of the staff act as if they are literally doing you a favor by doing their job. Absolutely NO customer service. The information you receive is entirely dependent upon the employee with whom you speak...one person tells you one thing, while another has no idea what the other is talking about. What a joke!

Ridiculous wait time – Are you serious? There is only one DPS office in all of Montgomery county? Went to take my son for his learner's permit. The doors open at 8:00, Monday - Friday. We got there at 8:15. There was no parking available. People were parking in the grass nearby. The line went out the door and across the parking lot. Unreal. For the amount of people in The Woodlands, Spring and Conroe, there really needs to be another DPS office. Maybe they could jump into the 21st century and offer online check-in and document submission.

drivers license re-newal – Every time I get my license re- newed , and have to go to the dps center , like an all day thing. Why in the world you couldn't have a set up at your office just for people getting their license renewed. I waited in line for 1 hour , sat another 2 hours and " bingo" when my turn came , by golly it took 5 minutes to take my eye test, thumb prints, photo, and paid 25 dollars and was gone.

It wasn't because so many people were there like me, rather for other business .It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out, I call it poor performance.Never saw a trooper?
