Quick effiicent staff kind to customers they are acquainted with, new comers receive a cold shoulder sometimes. Three times recently been there, 1st time great all around, 2nd time the exeperience was bad all around and I took out ofd town guests there. Third time fod was good, though someone

in diningroom rifled through my gym bag and stole personal items, while I was ordering. No one said anything. I would not goback again .

  • Pros: food good
  • Cons: not so nice for customers not well known

I was born and raised in Seattle, and then spent 25 years in Alaska, and Dalys has some of the best halibut I have eaten!

  • Pros: Great food
  • Cons: Can be really crowded, but that is due to the great food

I can't say enough good things about this place. I worked at Daly's in highschool 14 years ago, and was always loved the food then, and still do. That says something, normally working in a place, the last thing you want is the food. I could make 50 orders of fish and chips and 100 burgers and still be hungry for my own.

  • Pros: Fresh fruit shakes, burgers, fish and chips
  • Cons: Can't think of any

I have been eating at Daly's for over 15 years. The service has always been excellent, a true family owned Ma and Pa shop.

I love the Chicken sandwich, real grilled chicken breast, not some reconstituted deep fried patty. The salmon burgers are equally great, fresh fish grilled to perfection on a whole grain bun. The fresh cut fries leave nothing to be desired, and you have to top it all off with a fresh fruit shake or malt.

Nothing reminds me of summer days as a child like a Fresh Strawberry Malt from Daly's paired with their Single Regular with cheese.

  • Pros: View, Fresh Meat, Fresh Fruit Shakes
  • Cons: Really busy at Lunch

In Short
1962 is memorable for two reasons in Seattle: the World's Fair, and the start of Daly's Drive-In. The Daly Double is a pair of 1/4-pound patties with lettuce, cheese, tomato, onions (grilled or raw), pickles, relish and mayo, and many swear it's the best burger in town. The fish-and-chips feature fresh breaded halibut and many regulars come for the salmon burgers. Grab your grub and eat on the back patio.

food is average but expensive and don't always get extra's you pay for check your order before leaving and they really accept cash only. No debits or credits unless you pay extra for what? Forget it.. Fries very greasy and friers dirty.

You really can't find a better burger or salmon sandwich to eat on the fly. Daly's does it right and they've been in business for a long enough time to prove it.

  • Pros: Food, Location, Service
  • Cons: Ambience?

When you talk about a Seattle favorite- this place has it all - great food (I'd recommend grilled salmon and chips) and wonderful service.

One of the best still around!

Don't get it, guess I never will. As a chef for 25 years, I've eaten every "great" burger I could find, all across the country. The one thing a lot of people forget is the bun. Daly's are the worst kind of pasty, cranked-out doughballs from Gai's or some place like that. The meat is alright but the appeal seems to be that they're big and come all sloppy with toppings. The staff is nice and service is fast but, to me, a really great burger has to have it all - great bread, great meat, and great BALANCE of tastes. Daly's just ain't got it.

  • Pros: Service, View, Lotsa toppings
  • Cons: BREAD, Unseasoned, Messy
