When I first moved to miami I was really nervous about anyone touching my color treated hair. I read about Rik Rak in a magazine, the reviews were great so I made an appointment. This was two years ago and I have been going back to Rik Rak exclusively ever since. Theresa does my highlights and she is amazing!!!! They also have a really great selection of accessories, handbags, shoes and clothes.
Pros: great boutique, knowledge staff, accomidating

The woman that did my bikini and eyebrows was the most unprofessional EVER!!! she talked non stop about her last client, not realizing i can speak spanish she complained how about having too many clients that day and her back was killing her. the wax was too hot and her room was less than clean and smelled of old burnt wax. i wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. I was told to go for eyebrows by someone that read about her Leticia , now she is so overbooked and $40 for eyebrows come on this place is a mess from desk to door. NEVER AGAIN
Pros: DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Cons: RIP OFF AND FILTHY

I Read all those good reviews specially from those who compare this place with Europe!!!!!!! Incredible, how can someone said is better or equal to Paris, New York? I think they are just helping them that's IT!!!!! totally!!!!!! just go and look at the staff? what is the first impression?look at the clients results? terrible. They are late, they make you pay for drinks, after all the money they are charging you???? Go to Oribe, that is a good Salon in Miami, and qualify stylists for example. I will never waste my money again in That Place, not even for an emergency, even though is right infront of my office.
Cons: Too expensive for the service they provide, bad custumer service, staff not qualified.

I have been a loyal customer of Rik Rak Salon, Spa and Boutique for many years and strongly encourage others to visit the salon. I have very high stadards regarding quality service, and I wouldn't recommend Rik Rak unless I was absolutely pleased. Rik Rak is unique because it provides a full spectrum of salon services while also offering beautiful clothing and accessory items. The owners, Ric and Raquel, truly care about their customers and are very dedicated to their work. One or both of them are always there. Betty, the manager, has always been my hairstylist. She does an outstanding job with my color, and I get many compliments. I have referred many friends and acquaintances to her, and they have also become loyal customers. Betty always makes herself available and is impeccably punctual. She is a true professional, and I am very grateful for all her work over the years. I also enjoy the great boutique, which offers unique jewelry, dresses, casual attire, shoes, and even athletic wear. Whenever I wear something from Rik Rak, I get many compliments. Overall, this is a top-quality operation and I strongly recommend it.
Pros: Quality, Service, Ambience, Caring Staff
Cons: None

RikRak Salon is simply the best. Here I have found not only the sexiest hair possible, thanks to my beautiful stylist Betty, but amazing color and above all a great welcoming environment. Rick and Raquel are so thoughtful and make all customers feel like queens or kings for the day. You can always find something new: from the best salads in the world to the hottest new trends in fashion. As a news anchor woman in MIami I am very grateful for the care and effort of Betty and her assistant Ilianis in trying to make me look beautiful always in front and behind tv cameras. As I have to my friends and collegues, recommend Rik Rak to anyone looking for the best color, sexiest hair, and the most beautiful salon of all South Florida. Can't miss it....... I received a gift certificate and was very excited. The first service was a pedicure, which was $45. At my usual salon it is $25. There is no comparison and absolutely no reason they should charge so much. I was taken to a back corner near a sink and got an extremely basic pedicure in an uncomfortable chair. My regular pedicure includes a scrub, foot and leg rub and you are seated in a massage chair. I then had a massage. You are taken through the office building to another area, which is not at all attractive. The room was freezing and I had to request extra towels to cover myself and try to keep warm. When the massage therapist started, it literally felt as if they had let anyone into the room and he was guessing what a massage is supposed to be like. He seemed extremely nervous and uncomfortable. His hands were uncomfortably cold. At one point he started slapping me (I am not exagerating) to the point that it was painful on my back. He was clumsy and poked me or bumped into areas he was not working on several times. I have had massages for the past 15 years and have never had such a strange experience. He had no idea what he was doing when he placed his hands all over my face. At the end, he did not know how to tell me he was done. So when I realized he was putting things away and putting his watch back on, I opened my eyes to just find him hovering over me and staring. No whisper to tell me he would be exiting or gentle touch to let me know. I would not recommend this salon to anyone and actually cancelled an appointment for a friend. Do not waste your money. Did I mention it looks like a flea market with shoe boxes all over the place?
Cons: Overpriced and just not good.

Excellent results every time. I would recommend that anyone who wishes to have a great and experience should stop by Rik Rak. I am not sure why some of the other reviews are so negative, and I have to believe that these are being done by competitors.
Pros: Service
Cons: Not sure

I bought one of those Smart Circle cards that you $60 for and then an array of services. Let me just say that it was the worst spent $60 of my entire salon and spa experience and I have been at many spas. The receptionist had no idea about the services when I called to ask about the spray tan. She left me on hold forever. When I arrived to do my nails the woman treating me acted like she was annoyed to do my nails. She was extremely unfriendly and rude. My friends nail tech did not speak English but as least she was polite! It was as if we were not considered real paying customers because we had this card. If I had liked the place, I would have become a client because it is very close to where I work but I would never even think of stepping foot in there again. The salon and spa experience should be relaxing and people should be polite and hospitable. Plus, the prices are out of this world high for the service given.
