Uni K Wax does not recycle their wax. That so called "recycle container" is a seperate garbage so that at the end of the night the used wax is thrown away. Uni K Wax is a well developed company, if tha was the case, they wouldn't be able to put up multiple new locations, and continue to be successful.

Pros: excellent herbal wax, great service

Cons: their success, because of how well they do, people like to make false accusations.

I HAVE BEEN A UNI-K CLIENT FOR SIX YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD ONE COMPLAINT ABOUT THEM OR THE EMPLOYEES THAT WORK THERE. THEY DO NOT RECYCLE THE WAX AT ALL. MY TWO FRIENDS WORK THERE AND WAX THEMSELFS ON THERE LUNCH BREAK. IF THEY WOULD RECYCLE MY FRIENDS WOULD BE THE FIRST TO NOTICE ON THEMSELVES. THIS IS A MADE UP STORY THAT WAS CREATED FROM JEALOUS BUISNESS OWNERS THAT HAVE SEEN SUCH GREAT SUCCESS IN SUCH SHORT TIME..

Pros: CHEAP,FAST,EXPERTS,FRENDLY,CLEAN

Cons: HARD TO GET FIRST CHOICE APPOINTMENT.THEY ARE VERY BUSY

I've been going to unikwax for over 10 years, sometimes to the South beach and some times to the one up in North Miami. after all these years, still coming back. Their staff is great, very professional. When I asked the manager in North Miami if they recycle the wax, she showed me how the wax is never re-used on anyone else and how they dispose it after each use.

Pros: Great service, still the best waxing outthere,

Cons: hard to get an appoitment sometimes, they told me they are going to open new stores soon

I used to go to Uni-K all the time, and still did when I was back in Miami... that is until now. I went to the So. Miami location and never noticed them putting the wax in a special container. Maybe this is a new development. The herbal wax was great for skin and preventing breakouts, but with recycled wax... who knows what you will get! I can't believe that recycling machinery even exists, but I Googled it and there it was. I will never go there again.

THE UNI K WAX CENTER OF SOUTH BEACH IS THE BEST ONE I`VE GONE TO SO FAR.THE WAXER ARE ALL VERY PROFISSIONAL AND ROSIE THE MANIGER IS VERY POLITE WITH VERY WELL CUSTOMER SERVICE.NOW THE CONCERN I AND MAYBE OTHERS HAVE WITH SOUTH BEACH IS THE PARKING,IT SHOULD BE AN ISSUE TO THE OWNERS ABOUT ALL THE EVENTS IN THE CONVENTION CENTER THAT OCURRS ALL YEAR AROUND.

what do you mean they recycle the wax??? how do they do that? how do you know they recycle it? this is grossing me out!?!?! i've gone to this place .... how can they reuse the wax???????????????

I highly recommend this place! I have been waxing for years and their herbal wax is much more gentle on my sensitive skins, so I don't end up with little red spots all over when I'm done. They are also one of the most economical waxing places in town.

I love this waxing salon, the service is so good, they have such a great wax is a incredible bright green. My husband loves to have his back waxed, he falls asleep, but only for 15' because they are so fast.

I went to unikwax because I see them in all the papers in Miami, and wanted to try them out. Unfortunatelly the girl who did my bikini was a little rude, and was not very detailed. I do not speak spanish so I was a little unconfortable around the staff all speaking spanish.

Pros: cheap prices

Cons: they told me they recycle their wax
