My husband and I went for a couples massage at Equilibria. The massage itself was not impressive; we each requested deep tissue massage and mine was lighter than a Sweedish massage while my husband experienced himself being jerked around and felt pain rather than deep massage. This was bad enough, but what really upset me (and spurred me to write a review) is that the 2 gals were talking to each other during our couples massage. It was totally unprofessional, not to mention distracting and the opposite of relaxing. I won't go back here for any services.

I 'm a physical therapist and was here from NY to visit my brother. I was already overdue for a massage when I'd overdone it biking around Portland. So I went ahead and got scheduled for a 90' session. I saw Julia and the treatment was very helpful and professional. Whether you live nearby or are visiting I would highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I went here for our first couple's massage and it was amazing! Everyone here is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Equilibria if you and your special someone are looking for a great massage that you can share together!

I would highly recommend Equilibria to anyone looking for a great deep tissue massage. The staff is very professional and the space is full of relaxing, soothing energy. Tahlia and Jennifer were both very receptive to my back and neck issues and I left the appointments feeling revived and limber again. The accommodating business hours also made it extremely easy to schedule on my behalf. Top notch for massage studios. Equilibria has all the right elements! AJT

i so look forward to a massage at Equilibria. I've had treatments from almost all of the therapists and I would go back to any one of them! Plus, they are open 7 days a week which makes it much easier to fit a massage into my schedule. The atmosphere is great - everyone is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

Had a wonderful experience here the first tme we went and was sadly dissapointed by the tact of the management. Was billed for missing an appointment when me and my partner were in a car accident the night before and the owner and manager have refused to refund the $220 for a massage I was not able to attend due to lying in a hospital bed. I was even asked to come in and prove my injuries when I tried to get a refund. What a great way to crush my great admiration for your company! Wont be refering to friends sorry guys!!!!!!!

It was my first time having a massage session and it was awesome! Clean clean environment, great customer service, and most importantly the massage was amazing! I was very impressed with the treatment I received and will be going back again and again in the future. As it was my first, I was a little hesitant not knowing what to expect, but everyone in the office made it very comfortable.... The most important part was Jen Kneedler! She did an outstanding job and I couldn't have been happier! Thanks again! I'll be back soon! Brant

I slipped fell down a flight of stairs a few months ago, wrenching my mid-back and nearly dislocating my right shoulder. Big painful ouch! For two months I suffered from a lot of residual pain, loss of range of motion and weakening in my shoulder and back. Although I have had many massages in my life, I delayeg going because I have been working 10-12 hours a day, six days a week, I had not gotten in to a massage or doctor or help of any kind. My Bad. Finally, at the urging of my wife - I came into Equilibria and got an massage - how was it? Fabulous! Absolutely fabulous! The massage was perfect, and the massage therapist spent most of her time working and releasing the binds on my back and shoulder. Now, after my second massage - I feel fabulous, I am almost at 100% again, and I am so grateful for the healing philosophy, expertise and intuitive touch. I'll keep going back to Equilibria and I will be sending all of my friends there too! Namaste! Jonathan Logan

I found Nicole to be very intuative about my body and problem areas without me even telling her. Her communication was appropriate when she needed a check in for depth of deep tissue work,so as not to over-do.Her hands knew when to give me deeper work as well as stretching. I was impressed with her background of massage as she worked. She took the time to answer my questions and give me guidance. All the therapists at the studio were professional, atmosphere soothing and noone was pushy. I like the flexability and accomodations of the long hours for working people,as well as location. I have has massages for over 20 years and I rate this as one of the best.

I recently went to Equilibria for the first time after a friend recommended it and I will definitely be returning. The massage prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is low-key and relaxing. My massage therapist was Nicole and she gave me the best massage I have ever experienced. She was extremely knowledgeable, trained in many different techniques, and just seemed incredibly intuitive in her massage work. She was able to find and work on the areas of my body that were the most tense without me even having to tell her! By the end of the massage, I was not only relaxed but so blissed out that I had a hard time getting up from the table. I highly recommend Nicole and Equilibria!
