the food at the north end is absolutely wonderful! there is a great variety of choices on the menu & i always have great difficulty deciding what to have. i've been back on several occasions whether with just my wife or my kids. it's a great environment that is both romantic & welcoming to families. the chef is great and always makes the perfect meal. the waitstaff is excellent. they are very on point & i am never left waiting. i overall am very pleased with each visit.
Pros: food, waitstaff.
Cons: no complaints.

Just had a great prime rib dinner and the wife had a roasted breast of chicken stuffed with mozz and roasted peppers. Service was spot on without being pretentious. Real varied menu..quite frankly I was surprised at how many options there were. Heard about them from WFAS. I'll definitely be back. Free parking was a real plus.
Pros: varied menu, great food, comfortable ambieance

This used to be a barbecue place, but it wasn't good then. I tried it after it became North End, and it's really good. I am not a barbecue fan, but my friend got the barbecue (it's still on the menu) and said it was better than when it was a barbecue place! The eggplant is good and the salmon. Prices are reasonable. I would suggest a reservation because you don't want to have to wait.
Pros: Free parking. Near downtown. Great food, nice staff

My family and I recently enjoyed our first, but not last, visit to The North End. Its convenient location (right down the road from the train station) is what drew us in. The restaurant has a very appealing decor, with a nice family style atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly, up-beat, and attentive. The food was delicous and the portions matched the prices. I will recommend The North End to all of my family, friends, and co-workers.

For a "neighborhood" restaurant, I didn't expect a lot. I was pleasantly suprised. My wife and three daughters had a wonderful meal. The food was innovative without being pretentious. The service was smooth and attentive. At other tables, I noticed couples enjoying a romantic evening as the ambience is warm and inviting. I highly recommend The North End to anyone looking for great food at reasonable prices. Plus, I parked for free. Christopher McAndrews
