RUCrazy This movie rocks and rocks again. Meryl Streep plays a free spirited woman, who still loves her one true love. Who knew she could sing as she does in this movie. Abba music is great. For anyone who grew up in the eighties, brings back a lot of funny memories... The plot is unique and it is a musical for all intense purposes. Romance with Meryl and her old beau is one plot and the other has to do with her daughter and her marriage. To me, just to hear the music and see the costumes was enough. I am a great fan of Meryl Streep and to see her in this gypsyish, free spirited, comedic role is unique. She can do just about anything. Her crazy friends hold their own right along with Meryl. Can not say enough about this flick Great for kids, and a chick flick. hubbies should stay home on this movie night. This movie should be compared to others like it in the same genre---musicals and contemporary musicals. If you compare this to the Dark Knight--well there is no way you can do this. urmoronic needs to look again for the real message in this movie. fun, laughter, music, an intervention for the dark misanthropic soul.

Pros: musical and very funny

Cons: people who don't understand this movie's purpose
