Always a Pleasure
by BrooklynGuy
Seriously, Rod always knows what to do. He can diagnose my problem areas without my even having to tell him. I usually get the signature special. I really like this place, and not just because it is convenient!
- Pros: Rod is the best massage therapist I have ever had.
- Cons: You can hear voices from other cubicles.
Best Massage

After 17 years, I've finally found a great day spa with a great masseur. Rod is the best! I went to Spring Thyme requesting one type of the massage, but after interviewing me, Rod recommended a medical massage that has definitely helped me in a way that 6 months of physical therapy did not. And, usually, I've found massage therapist stick to their routine no matter what I discussed with them. But Rod tailors the massage to my specific needs and it changes it when necessary. I'm hooked, and feeling a lot better. The surroundings are relaxing, the staff very professional and the Brooklyn Heights location cannot be beat!
- Pros: Flexible, Montague Street location in Brooklyn
- Cons: None
Great massages!
by vat2102
I am a die-hard fan of this place and of Rod in particular. I've been going here regularly since 2005. The therapists are fantastic, I can always get an appointment on short notice, the location is great, and their prices are reasonable. They also have a frequent-massager program that is great for a regular like me! I've been to other places where I have had massages & it felt like the masseuse had no idea what they were doing, but that has never been the case at Spring Thyme. Every therapist I've seen there was clearly well-trained and professional. Rod's massages are genuinely theraputic - I've visited him for general relaxation, stress tension, and injuries and I've always gone home feeling better!
- Pros: Great therapists, peaceful, clean, and reasonably priced
- Cons: The awesome shoe place on the way out - too tempting!
Great massage!

When you go to Spring Thyme you can expect a great massage. I first found Spring Thyme because I lived in the neighborhood, but even after leaving Brooklyn Heights I continue to make the treck when my knots get out of control. When I leave Spring Thyme after my massage I'm always amazed by how much relief a massage can bring. I've tried many many places both in Brooklyn Heights and through out the city, but I keep going back to Spring Thyme.
Great Place for Therapeutic Massage

Spring Thyme on Montague Street is an excellent and affordable place to get a massage. I am a long- distance cyclist and often have overstrained muscles etc. I prefer a deep massage that can really address these issues. I have found it difficult to find a massage therapist that can give a good deep tissue massage that is truly beneficial and not painful. Rod at Spring Thyme is a real find! He has an impressive grasp of the muscular structure of the body and has effectively addressed every problem I have brought to him. This has allowed me to remain as active as I want to be without pain. I highly recommend Spring Thyme and especially Rod.

- Cons: HARD TO FIND PARKING SPACE
I like this place to go for a massage.

If you look around a place to go for a massage. I would suggest you to go Springthyme Spa which is at Montague street in Brooklyn Heights. It was best place because every time I am very satisfied with the service they served whenever I had a back pain or muscle pain and joints pain. I feel like a new person after that. What was impressived me that the ceiling is high and the color is pretty and people who working there are very courteous.
- Pros: best service and reasonable price
- Cons: need to spread more advertisings out
Not Impressed
by Euphoria
I booked a swedish massage here. The space was cool, high ceilling and beautiful moldings. Except sadly the owner decided to paint the space a garish purple.
Now here comes the worst, my massage therpaist either had bad breath or gas! I was dying of the disgusting odor she was emitting while providing her service. She was also having a running nose and breathing heavily. I was praying for the massage to be over with.
I was not imprssed by the massage as it left my neck a little sore afterwards, I also got a headache later that day, which may be related to the way she massaged my temples. I will never go back. Should've known anyting on Montague is a joke.
- Cons: Unprofessional Staff
Best Wellness

I have been to wellness centers all over the country--in Texas, Alabama, Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida, New York, West Virginia and, the capital of relaxation, Berkeley, CA. Sprint Thyme is amazing! All of the clinicians there are knowledgeable and kind, offering many different types of massage. They create a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere and know what they're doing. Their signature massage is both calming and deep enough to loosen some pretty tough knots. It's a great place to recharge!!
Signature massage is the way to go
by mvemba
This was my first visit to Spring Thyme and it was great. I haven't had a massage in a few months and my back was yelling at me to get it done. So I finally gave in and got a 30 min signature massage during my lunch break. Awesome way to break up the day. The masseus got out my knots with precision, adding just the amount of pressure and speed. My back feels awesome, check this place out!!!
- Pros: Awesome shoe store downstairs, bentley's
- Cons: are there cons when getting a massage? not for me
