By Rick Florino, Editor
Gwar remains one of metal's best and most consistent acts. Their legendary shows leave audiences covered in fake blood and loving every minute of the bombastic stage production. However, even blood-loving rockers have to eat. So vocalist Dave Brockie shared his top five places in the world with Citysearch.

Mamma Zu's
501 S Pine St, Richmond, VA
"The best restaurant in the entire world is a place called Mammazu. It's a weird little Italian restaurant in our hometown of Richmond, Va. It’s located in the weirdest little redneck neighborhood. The dude Ed owns this place. His dad owns a really famous restaurant in DC called Avi. He gets absolutely the best, freshly shipped food from Italy everyday. It's absolutely the most authentic family-style Italian eating, you'll ever do. Huge servings of pasta ... everything is awesome." -
Acme Oyster & Seafood House
724 Iberville St, New Orleans, LA
"Acme Seafood House in the French Quarter of New Orleans, if you're a huge raw oyster fan, this place is the raddest. They'll crack them all night for you. They've got a giant barrel of Oysters on ice. It's amazing." -
Woo Lae Oak
170 N La Cienega Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA
"I love any Mongolian barbecue, but especially the ones in Canada. The best place to enjoy it is in Canada, because they don't have these rules about how long you can keep the meat on the table." -
McDonald's
6345 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
"Finally, my last favorite restaurant in the entire world is McDonald's. Not only do I love a Big Mac. No matter where I am in the world I can order a Big Mac and I know what it's going to taste like, but if it wasn't for the Dollar Double Cheeseburger, do you have any idea how many crackheads would've starved?"
