					<title>Gotham Bar &amp; Grill</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;The mere fact that it&#039;s been around over 20 years says a great deal. Chef Alfred Portale added a new definition to American cuisine. It&#039;s fresh and contemporary without coming across as stark or off-putting.&#034;

								&#034;Of course they are a marvelous restaurant, but the bar is also very nice with lovely views into the park. They have a wonderful namesake cocktail with a spicy, gingery taste.&#034;

					<title>Rizzoli Bookstore Midtown</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;They specialize in art, photography and design books. The books are gorgeous and so is the environment. Whenever I&#039;m feeling in the doldrums, this place just picks me up.&#034;

					<title>John Bartlett Menswear</title>

								&#034;For the traditionally minded man who still wants to look modern and hip. They feature slim tailoring and conventional ties but the color combinations give them punch.&#034;

					<title>Banana Republic</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;As you may or may not know, I&#039;m a big Banana Republic fan. I can afford it, I can wear it off the rack, and in terms of the men&#039;s clothing, it has just enough edge to keep it from being stodgy and conservative. I&#039;m addicted!&#034;

					<title>Parsons The New School For Design</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;My heart and soul remain at Parsons in many ways. I&#039;ve spent 25 years at this incredible school. You really can&#039;t tell the history of lifestyle design--and by that I mean fashion, interior design and product design--without telling the story of Parsons. We were the first school of design to offer programs in those areas. Consequently, we got an early leadership in developing those industries. It&#039;s a thrilling place to be.&#034;

					<title>Hudson River Park</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;It&#039;s a whole stretch of promenade along the Hudson from 59th street to Battery Park. It&#039;s a great place to walk and clear your head and take in the smell of the water. There are bicyclists and rollerbladers with separate tracks, so you don&#039;t feel like you’re putting your life at risk by walking down there! It&#039;s very head-clearing. It&#039;s about as close as I get to a religious experience. That&#039;s where I go to have a real park experience.&#034;

								&#034;For cocktails you can&#039;t go wrong with either location of The Standard. Both are great bars, one right by the pool, and the other with views of the city from the rooftop.&#034;

								&#034;Working the red carpet, you essentially just stay in one spot, but this is a great location. I can&#039;t help but have an out-of-body experience at these award events--it&#039;s absolutely surreal!&#034;
