		<title>Celeb-Rated: Laz Pina, Ill Nino</title>
		<link>http://www.citysearch.com/roundup/42628</link>
		<description>

					Ill Nino create heavy music that&#039;s infectious and intriguing. With their fourth record &#034;Enigma,&#034; the band has transcended genre boundaries and crafted intelligent and intricate tunes that will no doubt inspire and captivate metal fans for years to come. Bassist Laz Pina lays down Latin-flavored grooves and helps write these songs. When he&#039;s not on the road playing to packed houses across the globe, he enjoys kicking back in New Jersey. He shared his favorite spots to dine at home and on the road with Citysearch.

					<title>New Caporal Restaurant</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;I can&#039;t remember how many late nights after a night on the town that I went to this neighborhood fried chicken joint. Caporal has been cooking fried chicken here 24/7 ever since I could remember. USA Today rated this joint one of the best fried chicken in the country. For under $5, you get a &#039;Snack Box,&#039; leg and thigh, fries, a delicious roll, a side of macaroni salad and a Coke. I swear it&#039;s the best in the world!&#034;

					<title>The Point Diner</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;If you&#039;re ever in Jersey and want to enjoy a nice Jersey diner, The Point is the epitome of it. It&#039;s newly renovated with a fresh vibe and the servers here are always a lot of fun. This is my girlfriend&#039;s favorite diner in our area so we won&#039;t go anywhere else. Every time I go I make it a point(haha) to order the pastrami rueben sandwich. I&#039;ll also order the chicken tenders which are always consistently delicious. All in all, good food, great service, and awesome vibe. Definitely a piece of Jersey&#039;s Finest!&#034;

					<title>Mamajuana Cafe</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;This one is very dear to my heart because this is where my family and I went for my Dad&#039;s birthday this year. The atmosphere is real chill and the food is absolutely incredible which made for a memorable night. If you&#039;re willing to spend the money on fine Dominican/Caribbean cuisine this is definitely the place to go. My girlfriend and I split a plate of arroz con gandules and pernil(pork) which was enough to feed the table. For appetizers, the fried calamarri salad with ginger dressing was a delight. And, the chicken, fish, and beef epanadas have never before tasted so gourmet. You definitely get your money&#039;s worth!&#034;

					<title>Arthurs Tavern</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;Arthur&#039;s is probably one of the best steaks for the price in this area. But not only are their steaks delicious, the home fries potatoes, ribs, and coleslaw are too! Actually this is the best cole slaw I&#039;ve ever had. .I always order them every time I go. The vibe here is also really nice and there is an outside eatery for those nice summer days. I spent many saturday afternoons this past summer eating there with my friends and family which is always a great time!&#034;

					<title>La Isla</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;This one is one of Hoboken&#039;s best kept secrets. It looks like a hole in the wall eatery but behind those doors are a piece of Havana with the smell of great Cuban food and the sounds of Celia Cruz. Their Cuban Sandwiches are probably one of my favorites and the empanadas are among the best I&#039;ve had. Also for dessert, their flan with cafe con leche is a must!&#034;

					<title>Benny Tudino&#039;s</title>

					<description>

								&#034;This pizza joint in my neighborhood serves giant size slices of East Coast NYC style pizza. It&#039;s a giant representation of what NYC style pizza all over the world should taste like. It&#039;s also New Jersey&#039;s No. 1 slice according to Zagats.&#034;

					<title>Big John&#039;s Steak &amp; Onion</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;This place is right next door to (the)venue The Machine Shop, owned by two of the coolest rock promoters in the music biz. This is the place they send you to go eat at with your buy-out money. Big John&#039;s Steak &amp; Onion, their Philly-style cheese steaks are so good that they&#039;re better than any I&#039;ve had in Philadelphia--so good you buy two one for now and one you save for the ride to the next show later.&#034;

					<title>Tucanos Brazilian Grill</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;This place is a pit stop. After surviving for days on truck stop food you come here to fill up on barbecue meats. It&#039;s a Brazilian barbecue restaurant where they bring you skewers of delicious roasted meat and carve it at your table. They also make an incredible rice with black beans to go with it. The barbecue meats just keep coming till you can&#039;t fit no more.&#034;

								&#034;Now, when I&#039;m in Texas this place is a must! The Whataburger w/bacon and cheese. 100% pure American beef with bacon, mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions. This is the best fast burger I have ever had.&#034;

					<title>Mario&#039;s Peruvian &amp; Seafood</title>
					<cs:byline>Citysearch Editors, Los Angeles</cs:byline>
					<description>

								&#034;This is my favorite place in Los Angeles. My dish of choice here is the standard Peruvian dish, &#039;Lomo Saltados&#039; (NY strip steak). It&#039;s strips of steak, grilled onions, and french fries over white rice. It&#039;s sizzling with flavor. The steak strips are so tender they melt in your mouth. I also recommend the seafood ceviche for appetizer. Its main ingredients are flounder, shrimp and scallops, cured in lemon, lime, and cilantro. If you love steak and seafood combined this is your place.&#034;
